Dell busts out E207WFP 20-inch LCD for the budget set

Posted on 13. Oct, 2006 by loswhit in Web/Tech

Dell-E207WfpDell just announced a new 20-inch LCD with bells and whistles like a USB hub — along with the composite and S-Video ports, and sports that 1,680 x 1,050 widescreen resolution, 20.1-inch viewing area and a DVI port with HDCP.
Here is the kicker. The $289 pricetag. Um. Apples version is 700 bones. Seriously. There is no reason for anyone to look into the pixels of a 15″ monitor again. Ever.

That is a seriously SWEET monitor. My next tech project is to build my own computer to replace my aging Dell. Looks like I know where I’ll be going for a monitor.
