I have to say, I’m a Dr. Laura lover. I don’t agree with everything she says but she is often right about things. What can I say. I’m guilty. She’s great.
i wouldn’t say that i’m a dr. laura “lover”…i don’t agree on everything she says…but, a lot of it. even if you don’t like her, her radio show is kinda interesting. just to hear about people’s problems…mabye that’s just the nosey, eaves-dropping side of me.:) but, i do admit, her voice does get pretty annoying & i would never want her doll.
That’s on my christmas list this year.
I think the reason I am NOT a lover is because her call screeners let the most irrational, annoying people on her show. Then I have to listen to her act all huffy to the wimperring mommies on the other line.

Oopps OK so that might have been a little to much info. But back to my original point I well I will just go ahead and included my hubby in this, we LOVE DR. LAURA.

regarding your title, “Jesus has GOT to be coming soon…” It’s interesting that there is such a huge influence of jewish people in talk radio – michael medved, dennis prager, dr. laura, etc…. look in zechariah 12 where the whole nation of israel mourns for the pierced one that they had previously rejected. they mourn in that they missed Him in the first place, but rejoice in that He still has grace on them. without going into much detail, some interpret this along with other scriptures to mean that the church has been taken out of the scene through the rapture and then the jewish people are finally shown that Jesus was and is their Messiah. so back to the point, people such as dr. laura would have a pretty good platform to preach the gospel once it was revealed to them and would fit in nicely with the 144k jews mentioned in revelation. there really are lots of reasons to hope that Jesus is coming soon. sorry, i know this post wasn’t supposed to get all serious like that…….

I aint gonna lie. If I’m in my car between 12 and 3, she’s usually on.
And as far as the screeners, I don’t think they necessarily put the irrational people through. I think that if you need to call Dr. Laura to straighten out your marriage, you probably just fit in that category.

Ok, I can say there are times I listen and times I turn the channel, either she is having a hormone filled day…or I cannot stand to listen to the people that call…but…she is basically right, don’t you love that she is telliing women to treat their husbands well? What other person tells anyone that? AND, to get on Oprahs case, (sorry Heather) in her interview with Lance Armstrongs ex…she declares, “see that is why I haven’t and won’t get married because you have to give up all your power to this other person…” Yeah, Oprah does not get relationships..I will only watch her if the episode includes the what not to wear gals from Bitain, they are a hoot…
