So the debate rages on…has U2 officially surpassed The Beatles as the greatest band of all time?

The Beatles revolutionized pop music, but for pure longevity and quality of the product, I think U2 takes the prize. What do others think?

Yeah this vid is amazing. The first time I watched it, I wasn’t paying too much attention and then all of a sudden I caught on to what was happening and had to watch it all over again! Thanks Los!

Sully–for me, there’s never been a debate. Even as far back as the late 80’s.

It’s pretty amazing. I caught it one morning when monkey #4 deicded to wake up at 4:30 a.m. I wasn’t sure I was awake right off.

Sully….can’t compare two bands…..the Beatles did what they did, U2 does what they do. But I guess that’s how you think when you grow up on Prince, Van Halen, Hendrix and Zepplin.

    Alrighty…..thanks Los…..

U2 vs. The Beatles… apples to oranges. Or maybe… apple to apple tree…

Now that shows the humility of an amazing band, show casing the talent of other amazing bands. AMAZING.

  19. west 29 December 2006 at 2:31 pm #

Johnny….sublime was a totally different band

  20. Los 29 December 2006 at 2:47 pm #

U2 is the best band in the world now… however the Beatles are the only band to have the top 5 Billboard charts be all Beatle songs off of “Please Please Me” in 1964. Their were only two flaws that the Beatles had. First off Yoko, second off they’re Brits. The fact of the matter is, is Irish songwriters are better!

i love that Bono had to include some African kids in the video!
