So when Heather has had a long day and I’m still at rehearsal, I am sure she invites some friends over and pops open the Merlot. I mean that’s what they do on desperate housewives right?
So I put the kids to bed and Rob came over and we had Turkey night.
He and Leah recently went to Turkey and Quatar to visit some of our church missionaries and he brought back a Turkish Hookah and Backgammon. So we were up till 2 Hookahing and Backgammoning.
Fruity Tabacco with vanilla extract in the water. Yummy.
And no, the tabaccy wasn’t whacky.

I’ve been wanting to try the whole hookah thing. But I don’t know if thats a good thing expecially when I had quite the love affair with my bong back in the day.

Instead of enjoying the hookah and backgammon, you should have been folding laundry! hehe

I just started eating falafel and watching the UCR students getting there Hookah on. There’s a place at University Village.

Um, it’s Nargile, not hookah (we’re trying to start a trend), and it’s Tavla. Dude, if you’re gonna call it Turkish, at least use the right words! Also, I’m gonna admit — I’m a little jealous that I wasn’t invited. Now all you have to do is try to make the smoke rings change color and crap.

Oh my! I opened that first pic w/o reading below and saw the BillaBong shirt and some dude blowing smoke, saw some crazy pipe thingy, and thought, “Wow, Los’ Friday nights sure look different from mine!”
Hahahaha. And Backgammon is swiffering the nation becoming the next new retro awesome board game!
