Fell Fast
Last year Heather wanted to go skydiving. I was too fat to go. You had to be under 210 lbs. I was 226 at the time. But for some reason the owner told Heather that the wind was right and he would take me.
Um. Is it me, or should I have said no? Either way he strapped my fat ass to his belly and we spooned all the way up to the heavens. Brother weighed more than me. Then all at once we tumbled out. The camera guy who was video taping us even had to put on weights to keep up with us on the way down. Watching this makes me want to go again so I can fall slower. That way when the parachute opens my “boys” don’t end up in my throat. I know I posted this about a year ago but I thought I would throw it up for the 400 or so a day newbies who come around.

my hands are sweating. but, yes, i did do that the first year i moved to cali. pre-derek (actually, i knew him then but we weren’t dating yet), pre-kids…etc. it was with one of my best friends, kellie, for our birthdays (my 24th b-day). in august 2000 in near santa barbara, it was awesome, you could see the beach from the airplane.
oh, crystal…my parents said the same thing…”why are you gonna jump out of a perfectly good airplane?” i said,”cuz it’s seems fun.” and, it was…i’m really glad i did it.
Dude, it freaked me out just watching this video! No way would i jump out of a plane.
No, but I want to soooooooooo bad!!!! Hopefully for my 21st Birthday this summer…that would be amazing! Thanks for sharing!

Went like 7 or 8 years ago. LOVED IT!! Wanted to get my license it was so fun. Yet another hobby I wanted to pick up after trying. I need to go again!

went skydiving when i lived in south africa. we jumped from 10,500 feet and it was 0 degrees. talk about fripples…

One of my good friends is certified and goes all the time, but I don’t know if I could ever do it. It’s the whole jumping out of a plane at so many thousand feet that just doesn’t sit right with my head.
