300 Seconds of 300

Ricketts turned me on to this movie. Now I can’t wait.

Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite.
The 30 second trailers left me wanting more. Now I found it.

    I remember seeing this trailer with Lori…at the end of it, I was giddy with anticipation, Lori had her hands over her eyes.

    It will be playing in IMAX too. woah. I’ll probably go opening night (friday) and see it in Ontario. I know Justin Pardee is in. Who else. I say we hijack this comment board to plan the event. woohoo.

    I’m so frustrated that my church decided to plan a couples event this Friday that does NOT involve going to see 300!! I keep trying to wiggle out but being on staff and a married couple I can’t see a way out. Looks like I’ll be hitting it up Sat or Sun WITH THE WIFE! She’s the coolest!
