I'm really pretty bummed he left because he was the most entertaining thing about the show. Unfortunately though, she would have been ticked if I voted for him, so I couldn't really help the kid out! maybe he, William Hung, and that Chicken Little kid can go on tour together. You don't find it funny that they boot him this week, then they have their big 'giving back' program next week? They're not dumb. It's a business, not a talent show - they're just being creatively deceptive behind the scenes to get people to come back and watch. Sad thing is, I will still watch it because my kids love it and we watch it together - that makes it worthwhile to me.
