What new blogs are you guys reading that the rest of us should know about?
Mine is 6YearMed.
The blog of a medical student who has a GREAT knack for writing her medical school journey in a way that keeps my ADD mind happily engaged.
AAAAH!!! This is the coolest thing I have ever seen! Even better than the five placentae I delivered last night!! Thanks for the shout-out, Los! I feel a bit star-struck
Me too, Me too. I found her blog from your site comment section a week ago or so and am addicted! It satisfies my need to jump out of retirement…from nursing that is. Teaching hospitals are so much fun. Always something funny to write about. It has always amazed me what residents and med students go through before they are done with training. Sometimes it looks like a long, long road of hazing. I know I couldn’t hang. My pride and feelings would get in the way. My boys were delivered by a gaggle of residents and I think a fellow thrown in the mix. My Dr. was on a cruise and the high risk OB was….not there in time. I faintly remember a long white coat (attending) standing in the corner barking directions. NOT fun being on the patient side. I think we were THE learning case of the morning. Everything that could go wrong did! Did I mention the long white coat looked like McDreamy:) Wish I could have enjoyed the moment more. Miss you guys!

Wow, really good stuff there. That’s what blogging is all about.
