Why can’t I look away?
It’s like watching a car wreck.
That’s why.

dude…I cant watch whatever it is that show would call itself…it is madness, this is true…but Rosie KILLS me!!!!

i believe i would become one of those people who set out to dismantle any sense of government, authority, and human kind if i watched this presentation on a regular occassion

Wow…I was glad to see that Elisabeth didn’t back down any.

My heart goes out to Rosie, she seems so sad and angry. I really wish we could have some conversations.

Wow is right. The news of today is that Rosie will not be finishing the last 3 weeks of her contract. She is done! Anyone shocked???

I don’t know if Rosie is capable of conversations….she doesn’t let anyone finish a sentence (unless they already have her pre-decided stamp of approval.)

Most of us are rubberneckers, aren’t we? Humans just love to be where the action is! Unfortunately, most of us would rather witness a carwreck than nothing at all because if we witness nothing, we must not be in a very exciting place in life.

Wow… You can just feel the blood boiling. I’m not shocked by the conversation, I’m shocked that it didn’t escalate further.

i never liked the view. I think despise might be a more accurate term. But I couldn’t turn away. But other than that I really am speechless; I don’t have a comment.

Jimmy Kimmel called it back when Rosie started. He’s done regular segments called “Countdown to Meltdown.” Mr. Kimmel is funny. And prophetic!

AP says, “According to a New York Post report, O’Donnell’s chief writer, Janette Barber, was allegedly led out of the building on Wednesday after she was caught drawing mustaches on photographs of Hasselbeck in ‘The View’ studios. ABC executives didn’t return repeated calls for questions on the incident Friday.”

Really, just a proud, proud day for television. It’s like the seventh grade all over again.

You’re right, it is like a train wreck.

I never did like “The View.”

“I had this idea for a show.” — should have left it as “an idea.” GAH!!

i can’t stand this show…if i accidentally forget to change the channel as soon as regis and kelly (on the rare occasion that i’m able to watch r. & k.) is over and i start to hear the annoying shreak of their voices, i RUN to the remote as fast as i can to change it. elizabeth is the only one that i like that’s on the show & now i like her more. how can she stand to sit with the other 3 ladies for an hour every morning???

Yeah the show blows. And Rosie is terrible. You can tell there’s a lot of insecurity and rage inside her. Anyone who calls our US soldiers terrorists and says it was impossible that ignited jet fuel could have melted the steel in the twin towers is just…well, ’nuff said.

It’s interesting, I do give props to Elizabeth, because I am sure like all of us she does not always say the absolutely correct things, but since she is on National Television, as “the christian” which I am sure she doesn’t want to be typecasted as, she is willing to sit down and try with these ladies. Props

Since I believe that all discussions should attempt to be balanced…

It should be noted that it was not Rosie that did the initial interrupting; this clip only shows part of the segment on Iraq. What we would have seen had the whole clip been shown (see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uE_l8QYAWZM&eurl=http://www.usmagazine.com/node/9276) is that Elisabeth herself repeatedly interrupted Joy as she attempted to explain her frustrations about Bush. Regardless of how you feel about Bush or the views that “the other three women” represent, I find it interesting that the only criticisms of Rosie were her “rage” (I’m sorry, did she have more rage than Elisabeth? They both seemed pretty peeved to me) and her constant interrupting (um, yeah, reference the beginning of the clip when Elisabeth interrupts Joy). Remarkably, Rosie kept her mouth shut until minute 4:00, when she called out Elisabeth for not understanding exactly who the “enemy” is that we’re fighting (and hey, how many of us do, eh? Most people don’t realize that al Queda was strongholded in Afghanistan, not Iraq. Iraq was about WMDs – fictional or nonfictional – not al Queda).

In sum, my observation is that both Rosie AND Elisabeth acted with rage and complete disregard for respecting the other’s viewpoint, and as Christians we should recognize that and not be so quick to bash an individual for expressing views that may or may not disagree with our own.

    Peace.

Using internet is simple as hell. But I can tell y ou right now, it can be very hard, if you are the first time user.
So, first thing I suggest – open the Explorer, and type in the address you like.
You’ll get there really fast, it depends on your connection speed.
    Good luck.
