According to Leo the tech guy on KFI he thinks we will be disappointed with the phone. He however is still buying it. Way too expensive in my book!

You, my friend, are completely addicted. I see Apple Anonymous in the future.

iPhone? I just recently got rid of my pager (beeper) and I still carry around a Zack Morris mobile phone.

So, you’re going to get the phone AFTER the whole Half Dome thing, right? Since both are in three days…..

Doesn’t a young pastor with 3 small children have something better to do with $500-$600 than buy a new toy?

  10. loswhit 26 June 2007 at 11:28 am #

Nope. I am NOT going to feed my children. I WILL NOT feed the homeless. I WILL NOT pay my mortgage. I will NOT be a good stweard. I will only throw money on expensive toys from here on out.
    You pegged me anomymous.

Sorry to put you on the defensive, but I made a comment so that you, young pastor, might be aware of how things appear to an outsider. I am honestly concerned by the covetousness in your posts about the iPhone. Your sarcasm and defensiveness is disappointing, but we’re all just sinners aren’t we?

  12. Los 26 June 2007 at 12:49 pm #

Anonymous people are not outsiders. They simply do not exist on this blog. If one does not feel they should place their contact info, then they are too weak for this community.
And yes. We are all sinners.
And yes, sarcasm is on of my spiritual gifts.
    That was sarcastic.

Would my criticism be more valid if you knew my name?

  14. Los 26 June 2007 at 1:23 pm #

Not more valid. Just more respectful and responsible. If you have been here long, you will see that anonymous comments are frowned upon. They are usually negative and I am left unable to create a valued discussion with the commenter. A blog commenting system is not the place to be a shadow. Your anonymity just shows you would rather hide than show yourself and speak with your face out there instead of hiding.
Or else you would not be anonymous right?

    Did Fred say,
Support a fiend, support a fiend, support a fiend????!!!

  16. Steve 26 June 2007 at 6:50 pm #

In the interest of being more respectful and responsible, I’m Steve. Although my comments were anonymous they were, and are, honest. Anonymity does not always convey cowardice…sometimes it is just conveys a desire to remain anonymous. That’s just what it was here. I simply wanted to give you something to think about.

Thanks steve. Now I feel like I can talk.
I have worked extra to make the $$$ for the phone. Sold things as well. But remember that on a blog you only see a window of the blogger. And yes. I am addicted to technology. And I will feel happy when I get the phone. But if I get picked for la ink I might not be getting it. Lol
