I will say it again. Carmen is the Stallone of Christian Entertainment. Transcends time. Los you should get creative and do an entire worship service just talking the songs. Worship in spoken word format.
hey carlos, click on my name and see my latest post on the band Worth Dying For. I think you just might like some of their stuff. Dare I say it is similar to United…yes, I do. It is the same but different….=) Hope you like it!
OK…now I’m pissed. You give shout outs to Chandra Bishop and Stephanie Herring in the last week and you can’t even mention that our yearly reinactments of “The Champion” at Camp Chatuga and Camp Voyager made us LEGENDARY!!!
All those years I let you steal the show as Jesus and you can’t even throw me a bone on the blog? What’s up with that?
Love you bro…this brought back some SERIOUSLY fun memories!
Um – I hate to sound stoopid, but who is that? I like it – sounds cool! I’ve never heard it before. ‘Course, more than five years ago, I was listening to Metallica and Rush, not this stuff…
i think i “re-dedicated” for about the 15th time at one of Carmen’s concerts. wow. i wonder where he is today. i think it’s time for a quick Google search. i’ll let you know if i find anything interesting.
I didn’t know who this was at first either, so I made the mistake of clicking on it to find out. I couldn’t get it to pause or turn off! So i turned the volume down, & talked to your wife on the phone. When I hung up it was still playing! That was a really long song or production. I don’t really know what to call it.
Amen. Yes, brother Los, thank you for posting this!
Praise the Lord!
“And God said “You shut yo’ face, I wrote the book!”"
I can definitely appreciate that song. He’s talking about a battle that is real. No matter how cheesy his song and style was, he was speaking truth.
good grief.

every time i hear that intro music, i’m automatically taken back in time to youth camp. they did that song as a “drama” over and over and over again.
i’m glad youth camp is over.

I get chills everytime he starts to sing, “He has won!”

I still listen to the music of my youth…
Petra, Rez Band, Keith Green, Barry McGuire, etc.
In fact, those names above are on my “ipod”.
Carman concerts were free. That was cool. But who wouldn’t pay to hear “Satan, Bite The Dust” in person??? Magic.
Uh….What is this? I thought mimes were suppose to be silent.

One of my favorite songs!! The Champion. Wow again.
Ahhh… Carman — entertainer extraordinaire!
I loved that tune too! Thanks for bringing some of that old-school back (albeit a bit on the cheesy side!).
I played a demon in this drama. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I was pretty good at it. =)
