Mark needs to spend some time with Ted Nugent. They really have a lot in common. Ted can take him hunting, they can live off the land, grunt and do other manly things. I think the best example of my husband being a man is when he puts our kids to bed at night. He prays with them and then over them and shows them a how to love one another. Don’t buy the hype. Being a man isn’t about acting manly.

I don’t know, maybe not at Sandals, but I feel there is definitely a need for guys to stand up and be the leaders. I’d say that probably 80% of the church is run by our women. I don’t think we need to punch each other J, but I’d punch you back if you did.
I can see his point and think he is somewhat right. Like Hale-Yeah said maybe not Sandals cuz we tend to try to appeal to everyone we can, but have to admit there is nothing sissy about 777…I have seen “pretty” churches with flowers everywhere, and colors like an 85 years old grandmother decorated it, there is nothing wrong with that but what 20 year old male is going to want to step in grandmas house every Sunday…Not me and I’m a 26 years female…lol And if Justin hits anyone at church next Sunday, stop by the coffee cart and get some ice! I think I liked the 4WD Supra (or whatever it was the best). Why does a man have to like trucks, guns, football, and cigars to be a “real” man. Wait – I like those things… thanks for the ego boost D!!! I can be a pig and a Christian!!!!

Dude, I totally agree. I think the answer to the problems of the Christian church is more guys who are trying to look like Scott Stapp, but with trite haircuts, telling other men to be more manly. This manliness can be exhibited by A) making fun of ‘chicks’, B) making fun of guys that act like ‘chicks’, C) making fun of gay guys, D) driving a Ford Bronco, or E) just killing some stuff. I mean, if you really think about what this guy is saying, it’s quite stunning. Quite stunning.
I have no idea why you mere “chicks” are whining. I think we dudes have given you enough already. You can, after all, vote. The “Dude Upstairs” will provide for you all.
Some facts about me:

11. I cry in movies. Hell, I just cried when the Autobots came down to Earth in that new Transformers movie because the music was emotional and I knew they were coming to save the planet.
12. I REFUSE to listen to and/or participate in disrespectful or degrading talk about women. (Except for Rosie O’Donnell)
I may not agree with everything the guy is saying, but no one can deny there is a severe EMASCULATION of our brothers going on, especially in churches! Read Wild At Heart and tell me you aren’t a believer after that!!!

He is right but his follow up comments are weak. It’s not the obvious things that make a man a man, but his character. Don’t let anyone fit you into a category.
