wow. that is awesome. i fought with logic in college, we didn’t get along, but only because we didn’t spend enough quality time together. I’m sure if we had, like any relationship it would have been better. I threw a couple of final projects together on that sucker, but oh how we fought. Oh yeah, I also didn’t have a mac. Another mistake, I know. But now I know the error of my ways! But all the geniuses seemed to love it… So I have a greater appreciation for it. As long as I’m not being graded for it…I’m sure we can be friends. One day =)

Logic studio over Protools?
The Logic/Apogee integration looks killer. And that could be reason enough to look away from Protools. I’m hearing around town that they haven’t really implemented/fixed the automatic delay compensation adequately. (everyone is saying its as bad as in 7) Mainstage looks rocking cool but I am quite happy with the way Ableton Live fulfills that role. right now Im going to hang out with my DP/Ableton combo and see what happens. I have always wanted to dig into Logic though.
Protools makes me sick. I’ve been waiting for Logic 8 for a while now. It’s strange that I’m hearing about it first here! Makes me wonder why it’s cheaper than Logic 7? Gotta check this out.

Los, you don’t know how good this is. I have been downstairs at “the store” that I work at trying out the new stuff. It is seriously sick for live application. Trust me on this, this is a great buy.
