Well, I was about to say, “Nah!”
but, then I had the inclination to click on the picture and really look at the change in these people.

    Heaven’s sake.

I’d probably still say “Nah!”, but it shore makes you want to do SOMETHING! Those people probably could have before it went that far!

im not one to take scripture out of context but its hard to argue with this one:
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”

I’m an artist, I create for a living, and the biggest insult I can think of to my work is someone else taking it as their own and changing it to make it “better”.

    so…no.

    nope

    Wow!
My initial response is “no way”, but when I look at some of those women and how they looked and how they look now… it certainly makes me stop a think a little.
But even though I feel like I look like one of the “before” women more than I do one of the “after” pictures… (I’m about to brag on my husband..) my husband really does think that I’m a hottie… and that’s all that matters… right?
He says that I’m all that I need to be… all that he wants and needs.
I love my husband… God bless him!
I’d love to look like some of those “after” pictures, but here I am being the same old mother & wife that I am… just trying to keep it real!

    I am with you apples.
    And yea.
I would cut this gut off if I had the dough.
But I guess a gym membership will have to do for now.

After we have our last child (which will probably be this one) I just want to put the things on my chest BACK where they go. Not bigger. Just back where they go.

Not that I’ll do it because I’d rather spend my money on other things. But, ya know, I wouldn’t turn down a free Back Where They Go surgery. LOL

i’d have to agree with jenna…if i ever have an extra $10,000 (or whatever they cost), i don’t think i’d turn down a “give me back what i used to have” (plus mabye a tad more) surgery. however, i think i might be the type to say “while you’re at it, make my lips a little plumper”, etc., etc. so mabye it would be safer not ever stepping foot in the plastic surgery office. you never know, though.

I’m the biggest chicken when it comes to doctors so I don’t know if I have the guts to do it. I’ve seen Doctor 90210–daaaaang that stuff is scary! I wouldn’t do anything to my face (unless I got that turkey neck gobble gobble thing) but I heard they could suction the fat off your ass and put it in other places. If that is the case, they can suction away and harvest it. Lawd knows I have enough to go around. “Belieeeeve me sweety I got enough to feed the needy…” ;)

Heck yeh! I told John now that Gavin is born I’m getting my tummy tuck. Of course I will lose as much of the baby weight then go under…but there is no way I’m getting in a bathing suit next summer with my extra stretched out skin! We can refinance the house next year! hahahaha…

  13. Ronni 29 September 2007 at 10:46 am #

I got cancer. I gained 190lbs in 9 mos due to meds… I am losing it and therefore have need of tucking and things being put back where they belong…

    Um… yeah. I don’t want “altered” as much as restored… :)

    ….and maybe a nose job…. LOLOLOLOL

dont be bustin on “the swan”. i was an avid watcher of that show ~ bring it back…love these sort of things the before and after…would i? sure i would. especially after having a baby and being to tired to lose the weight on my own….

  15. kathy 29 September 2007 at 2:39 pm #

Now Los, is this really a fair question when your wife looks like Heather?

  16. Billy Chia 29 September 2007 at 8:13 pm #

The picture is portrays a false premise. Yeah the women look better in the after shot, but not because of the surgery. The hair, make up and clothes are all done to be flattering.

The before pics says, “Look at my frumpy clothes. I don’t care about how I look.” Women can dress up and take care of themselves and look beautiful even if their breasts are not made of plastic.

    yes…..simply yes.

i would in a heartbeat….does that make me vain? maybe, but there are some things that i would do tomorrow if i had the money.

once I lose all the weight, I’m afraid I might have to. let’s see. the wish list: a tummy tuck, breast lift, butt implants for dat badonka donk, and also get my teeth done. but, I don’t know if I have the guts for all that. we’ll see.

  19. Denise C. 1 October 2007 at 1:01 pm #

Larissa, I can give you a badonka donk if you can pass me some boobage. It’s all love, sista.

never. ever. plastic surgery should be kept for burn patients and cancer patients etc. Too many people obsess over this. I believe in doing it the long hard way. Exercise and Health. I’m not all there yet, but it’s a journey and I’m on it! We are such an instant gratification generation of people, things take time and it just takes work, discipline and dedication. ok, done =) it even took Esther 12 months of beauty treatments before she was presented before the King. Esther 2. Also the scripture mentioned above about being made in the image of God. Also, you can give anyone a makeover and make them look better without the use of surgery. It’s not about making perfect people. That is not real.
