Gmail-Imap-Settings
Here is the deal.
I use Gmail.
I have an iPhone.
I have a MacBook Pro.
My wife has a MacBook.
I have a Mac Mini.
I have a Power Mac G5.
Now. With Gmail’s new IMAP feature, ALL my email will be in sync no matter where I check/respond/save an email.
I READ my email on my iPhone…it shows up as read on my macs.
TRUE iPhone syncing thanks to Gmail.

This is big.
Even if you don’t know it yet.

Ahh yes. IMAP. That thing I’ve been doing on my MacBook/Work PC/BlackBerry for a couple of years *big grin*.

I should stop being so smug. Really.

Come on Apple…hurry up with iPhone Gen 2 and make it GOOD!!!!

I feel ya. I’m a huge IMAP fan. Who doesn’t use at least 2 different computers? Pop3 doesn’t cut it.

Is this a feature for APPLE products only?
My biggest headache is syncing desktop mail with laptop, handheld, and phone mail.

    I am all PC.
