Some Days Suck
Hi. I’m Carlos. I just moved my family 2200 miles away from home and I would rather not pretend that it does not suck some days.

Hang in there buddy. I know what you mean. Just do what I do and what I’m sure you do, Thank the Good Lord for what you have because so many would love to have just a fraction.
We are all praying for your family & you are all missed
For i know the plans i have for Carlos, Heather, Seanna, Sohaila and Losiah… says the LORD, they are planes for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope
Jeremiah 29:11
Just look at that little boy sitting behind you. He is sure to make you SMILE!
i understand the feelings and the tears….let them come, let them flow….trusting that you are in the hands of a God who knows exactly where you are.
if you and the fam ever want to come over and just have some fun hang time at our casa, you are always welcome! you know how to reach me! :O)
I appreciate your honesty more than you know. Speaking as a single person (I can’t imagine the challenges of moving a family), moving is hard and messy and just plain ugly sometimes. But keep your eye on the promise that God is with you. It’s not easy, but at least you’re not alone.
I’m praying for you and your family. That our Comforter will bring peace. Even if just for a moment.
Carlos your journey east has blessed me. I have been encouraged each day I read your blog. I will be praying for you in my prayer time.
you guys have SO much going on right now…it’ll all settle down soon. i’m praying that you guys start so feel more “at home” there (if you don’t already) and that you have way more non-sucky days than sucky days. wow, that was deep, huh!
p.s.~at least your all together during the sucky days instead of 2200 miles apart.:)
Los,
Thank you for being so honest. Does it suck on our end to have you and your family gone? YES. But, the Lord works all things for good for those who trust in Him.
Just hold on…it’s coming. Until then…know that you have a huge support team that not only loves and misses you, but who is praying for you too.
Hang in there fool!
We miss you here!
we miss you.
Said a quick prayer for you, bud! Hope your day gets better.
you share your journey
we share our prayers for you
We are praying for you and the rest of the Fam….
I cried when we watched you on la ink. Seeing your wifes sweet face made me very sad. We love you guys so much and really really miss you. Just know that we are thinking of you often. Stay strong and lean on the only thing that can and will give you the comfort you need, HIM.
Hey I’m sure some days sucked in LA? Dude, you’re where God has called you and where else would you rather be? You’ve got new friends along with old. An incredible family. And an internet of friends who laugh and cry with you, and we’ve never met you! Haha.
Thinking of you.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, Your perfect love is casting out fear. He never lets go, man!
Totally understand – we are in the same place here in Tucson. We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus called us here and yet some days it’s really hard to remember that through all the “new stuff”. New house, new team, new job … etc. The hardest part is not having any deep relationships with people around you – it takes so long to build that up. Praying for you guys cause we are in the same spot!
We have been where you are and you are in our prayers. Our family just moved from FL to Charlotte to help start a NPCC partner. God is good and He is faithful and it will all start to settle down soon. We have three children (so again, we know right where you are!) and that transition alone is enough to blow your socks off!! Keep doing what you’re doing and everything else will fall into place! God bless!!
don’t cry, Carlos… you’ll make me cry… promise it won’t feel like this forever… praying for you!!!
Sorry this is one of the sucky days! Fortunately, it will pass. Praying for you!
We felt that way, leaving Georgia… still miss it. But when there is hurt and a need, it leaves room for God to work. I wouldn’t trade our move to TN for anything. Yes, we still miss Georgia and some friends there, but the new relationships we’ve built here and seeing how God truly placed us here. Priceless. Doesn’t change the suckiness factor of some days… but we’d have missed out on all the good stuff if we hadn’t gone.
I love you, brother
i know the feeling. And i would be lying if i said it wasnt hard being in america … Even after being here for three months now. but God is good and i believe that He has a purpose in it all. Thanks for your authenticity. Its encouraging and refreshing.
I feel the suckiness too. But Patty shall come visit you soon.
Just know you are not the only one that ever feels like that bro…
Love you. Praying for you. Miss you.
need a hug? (((((((carlos)))))))
God will so bless you because you are being so faithful to him…miss seeing you at Starbucks on Arlington…..miss your whole family. We will be praying for you and Heather daily…change is so hard…trusting God is tough when days are crummy but he will totally reward you. Looking forward to seeing you when you get to visit.
Carlos…I love you…and plus that one guy said that God has planes for you. I hope it’s a 747…oh, oh an F-16…I call SHOTGUN!!!
REAL!
That is all.
Man, you have to be strong for me. I’m about to move the family 3000 miles in the next couple of weeks! Hang in there!
Oh Carlos.
Praying for you and miss you a ton.
