A Franklin Day

Posted on 30. Nov, 2007 by loswhit in Travel

One of my “Life Coaches” Randy Elrod lives in Franklin, TN. The family and I are in Franklin for a weekend eating lots of food, sipping great wine, and having amazing conversation.
In the coffee shop I was in, Merridees, there was a 30 minute run where I swear I was in a CCM dream from 2001. One after another after another. All giving Randy hugs.
What an amazing place. In a matter of moments I hung out with all these people…

We solved the worlds problems over an entire day. It was great.
Thank you Franklin.
You were kind to us.

Frankly I’m jealous too, but it’s only two months now till I get to hang out in Franklin with all you guys – woo hoo! Hey – you never mentioned Kathy was there too…

    Los,
Tell Randy & Chris that Paul and Anna said hello. (Randy and Chris are both from Ringgold, they went to HS with Anna…and they were on staff at my brother’s church in FL).

Los, the other day you said you had an announcement to make. I’m going to step out on a limb here: Is there a recording contract in the works for you? Not trying to start any rumors, just putting two and two together…

I grew up in Franklin! Be sure to take your family to Puckett’s Grocery, a great restaurant that’s just down the block from Meridee’s. It’s very kid-friendly and Southern great home cooking.

Are you going to be at the people’s church tomorrow?

Ok, that’s really funny. I was in Franklin Friday and Saturday…just drove back this morning. And saw some of those same peeps. Small world. Would have been too funny if we would have ran into each other on the sidewalk. :O)
