ah. Zonday. last night i was so tired while watching this i actually thought the guy was singing about rain that was chocolate. i fell asleep on the couch with the tv on soon after…
this morning, being somewhat more rested, i get what he is really singing about. he has some good one-liners, if not some good points.
I couldn’t take it…had to turn it off after after the first minute and a half. It’s funny – but only for 30 seconds or so and then I just wanted to scream at him. (although, this Sunday I think I’ll try the “move away from the mic to breathe” technique. That is some genius stuff there)
Having a hard time with this one. While it does seem rather funny – his voice seemingly incongruous with his face – he’s addressing some real issues that folks of color deal with every day.

we have a new morning news anchor up from El Lay — dave clark or something — with that deep affected anchorman voice and just this week when he was on i caught myself waiting for him to break out with “chocolate rain”… and now a chance to hear the actual song and GET IT STUCK in my head for Lord only knows how long…!!! yay!
Nah I’m cool . . . I endured the torture long enough to see if he was going to sing something interesting . . . kinda made those Al Jarreau faces on cerain words
