Thats right. I have cleared my calendar on Wednesdays for you. Come talk with me. Call me. Eat with me. Email me.
Wednesdays are for the people. I LOVE Wednesdays because I am at Buckhead all day long. It is when I try and connect with whomever I can in the staff and local community.
Every other week we have Buckhead staff meeting. Just for our staff. So the numbers go from 20,345 staff to 70ish. And I am ALMOST ready to test my knowledge on everyones name in the building. It is a little game I am playing. I have a wall full of Polaroid’s of their faces and weird habits I notice so I can remember them.
Just Kidding.
So yea. Obviously Wednesdays are my treasures. If you don’t have at least a 5 hour block a week like this, I promise you, you are losing productivity.
Filling that calendar with nothing but meetings makes you more ineffective than you imagine.
And normally by 9:15 the day is booked anyways. But at least I didn’t know what was coming when I pulled in the garage.

Have you seen the show “LIFE” ? That’s how I pictured you standing at a wall lined with photos and black marker lines connecting them all with scribbled notes by each one. Creepy.
Wow! You have 20,345 people on staff? We have 3 full time and a couple part time. No wonder all of our volunteers are burnt out.
dude, if you want to hang with our men’s bible study early one wed night (we start at 7:30), you could meet some people from the church and check our bible study vibe. that may cut in to fam time, though.
we eat before our study, so you could join in some vittle action with us. lots of the dudes in our group are very involved in the church and we are multiethic group as well.
