Your week apart is my previous week. The fam picked me up at the airport yesterday- nothing like the look on the little one’s faces when you reunite. Ahhh.
Nice pic….
I had a similar experience waiting for my boy to arrive. He wasn’t adopted, but my wife lost our first baby halfway through the pregnancy, and then she got pregnant a few months later. It felt like she was pregnant for years.
What an awesome picture.
I hope your kids can see this blog (if there’s a way to save them) so they can see how their daddy unabashedly shouts out his love for them for all the world to see!
We adopted our 3 year old son from Korea, and now we’re awaiting our new daughter (hopefully will travel in the next 3 months), so I can sympathize with the wait and what these little ones do to our hearts!
Awesome pic… I miss my son too. His name is Josiah. We lost him to cancer two years ago. He was 5. Something about a Father’s heart that is so strong and yet fragile at the same time. Love the blog. Keep it up.
Hey, while you’re biding time until Monday, I’d love to see your picks on the meme I just tagged you on.
(It’s very possible that you have a standing rule not to respond to every meme you get tagged with. I can imagine you get about 398 a day. But I thought I’d at least let you know I tagged you. By the way, I tend to think that most meme’s are gay. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. But I really dig books, and would love to hear some of your recommendations. Oh, how are things “downstairs”? Hopefully well.)
Daley captures moments so well
I missmissmiss him too.
So much so that seeing that picture makes me wanna cry. I love your son.
what a picture. We are waiting for our sweet LynnMarie in China and after we get her, I cant wait for those moments.. He is precious
Every daddy should feel the same way.

I’ve never known love like I do for my boy!

I can totally see Jesus all in that picture.
Thank you for sharing this – brought me some warmth on this cold rainy day!
