To See The Future

Worth
Sometimes you are treated to a gift that is beyond explanation.
Like being able to see what it will be like when your children commune with their Savior.
This is as close to seeing the future as it gets.
At first I viewed Sohaila’s guest appearance on Casey’s Christmas CD as just helping out a friend who needed a little girl to sing a part on a song.
What I got in return was a glimpse into what I how I want my daughter to feel about her Savior.
Around half way through the song…And straight from her lips…

I can not wait until she understands the power of those words.

For You Are My ONLY Hope.

Sweet stuff. I’ll have to get the little guy involved in music early, too. It just brings so much joy to the musician and the Creator.

Hey Carlos! My first time commenting on your blog – but, what better to bring the comments out than your precious daughter singing. I’ve been listening to the CD all day today and get teary every time I hear this part. What a treasure. I pray that her heart wraps around those words. What a great first album for her to be a part of. First of many for her, I bet!

Whenever I go home to my parents’ place, I inevitably end up at my beloved piano in the basement and my mom and dad always tell me it’s so good to have music filling the house like that. And I’ve seen both of them get choked up when they see me, and my two brothers, doing what God created us to do. Someday I’ll understand that more when I get to pass that legacy of faith and passion on to my own children. It’s a powerful thing, and such a great dynamic of the Kingdom we’re part of.

Thanks so much for sharing, Carlos. I echo the sentiment that it was beautiful and moving!

What a beautiful song! And your daughter sounds great! Where can I buy a copy of the CD? I went to the website and I don’t see a link to buy. Do you think it’ll be available at the bookstore at BC?

It sounds AMAZING! So cool to see how Sohalia’s part progressed from the recording session you posted all the way to this, with such a quick turnaround. It is a beautiful song and the other cuts are great as well. It’s awesome that Casey is bringing awareness to Romania in such a powerful way.

Who produced the album by the way? Beautiful mix…
