So, what’s up with your site going to RSS style at login?

    I personally hate RSS.

    Just wondering?

    Take care

My dad, Martin Holman from Richmond, Indiana and the amazing trilogy of Larry Bird, Robert Parish, and Kevin McHale

Okay, so I called the number and someone named Carlos answered…pretty crazy stuff…by the way, they don’t carry the product anymore…bummer.

lol…that was an awesome video! I loved watching Knight Rider growing up but my hero was the guy from Greatest American Hero! You’ve gotta love a guy who flies into buildings and can never get his landing right but always manages to save the day in the end (sometimes by accident!).

I would have to say that Zack Morris was my hero in grade school, but that was mainly because he dated Kelly Kapowski.

  21. Dan Atchison 16 January 2008 at 7:57 am #

Alex P. Keaton – Family Ties

  22. Rachel 16 January 2008 at 8:00 am #

Gospel Bill! No joke. Or Wichita Slim. Or maybe Commander Kelly. Yep, I was raised on that stuff, and I’ll (pretty much) shamelessly admit it.

  23. Rachel 16 January 2008 at 8:03 am #

Oh and, I have to echo DJ Tanner. I loved (love) that show.

  24. The Brown Kid 16 January 2008 at 8:32 am #

Seriously, I want that video. Did you check the soundtrack that came along with it? How did they avoid copyrights?

When I was a kid my mom asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up. I said, “Michael Jackson”. This was during the Thriller years, not when he was charged variously and hanging babies off the side of hotels.

  25. Corbett 16 January 2008 at 8:33 am #

    Daniel Boone and Gary Coleman

  26. Laura 16 January 2008 at 9:32 am #

Daisy Duke. I remember being four or five and sitting in the kitchen watching the hands move ever so slowly toward 3 o’clock. I couldn’t wait for the show to come on every day. And I had the biggest cruch on Bo Duke. Whew!!

Wade Boggs & Janet Jackson. I played baseball and softball and was a third baseman and way into it. I loved Janet Jackson because she was tough and could really dance. “No my first name ain’t baby, it’s Janet, Miss Jackson if you’re nasty” I rocked out to that tape almost everyday on my purple boom box.

Dorothy Hamill. I met her right after the olympics and had her sign a $2 bill which I later lost – Bummer! I even had the Hamill haircut which was later replaced with a Farrah Fawcett style. (Showing my age, aren’t I?)

DC Talk – but it was more of a sick crush on Kevin Max than a “hero” thing – I know, I know

  30. bobby 16 January 2008 at 2:27 pm #

Remember Ultimate Warrior. WWF baby. Thanks for the YouTube trip down memory lane.

Oh yeah, and Michael Jackson too.

Tony Hawk was my hero. Recently, my 10 year old son got to meet him. Unfortunately, I have yet to shake his hand myself…

Maybe that’s why I broke my arm at the skate park trying to be a kid again…

  32. vickie 16 January 2008 at 3:15 pm #

Thanks for ruining my hopes, Dale. I was just about to have “my Mom or Dad order now”. My birthday is coming up.

My hero, by the way, was Paula Abdul. Ouch. Did I just say/type that outloud?

  33. Rebecca Moon 16 January 2008 at 4:43 pm #

  34. Renee Garcia 16 January 2008 at 4:57 pm #

Ohhh Kids Incorporated! I SO wanted to be on that show! K-I-D-S!!!

Ahhhh I’m loving the 80s flashbacks! So in 20 years our kids are going to say??? Who? Hannah Montana? Stars from High School Musical? Please God, don’t let it be Britney Spears!

  35. Brett Moore 16 January 2008 at 8:29 pm #

Carlos Whittaker was and is my hero…could I get any more shameless?

Seriously – Dr. Alan Grant from Jurassic Park

The one thing that inflation just can’t seem to touch – the “as seen on TV” deals – just $19.99! Shipping has gone up though.

I actually remember that commercial from when I was a sophomore in HS. So fess up, who misses their parachute pants?
