ps…i tried to do a fancy link in this comment, but if it doesn’t work, then my question is how do i insert links into comments?
Maybe it should be one question per person.

You’re crazy, Los.
Do you own more pairs of shoes than your wife? (I know a few guys who put some girls to shame.)
it worked! but the link added an extra ‘L’ on the address in the bar…so, to see the fancy linked video, delete the last L on the address! have a great trip!

All my better question ideas have been taken so….
I read once here in Ragamuffinland that you use a Moleskine notebook. And then very lately I read that you had pics taken while holding a pen for the first time in 437 years. So, like, what do you use the Moleskine for?
And secondly, if there WERE a Ragamuffinland…. what would the water feature be?
What’s playing on your ipod?
What’s your favorite TV show?
Plans for any more ink?
Will you go on a date with me?

It certainly seems you have tons of creative freedom. How much freedom do you really have there? Do you get push back when you want to stretch the creative envelope? (BTW, totally LOVED the Ladies and Gentlemen opener.)
Whats your favorite food?
In a cage match between Kristian Stanfill and Todd Fields, who would win?
My questions are based on Biblical equality. When famous people (like, say, Jay Leno or Brad Pitt) have to have their license renewed, do they have to schlep to the DMV and wait in line #3 like the rest of us poor fools, or does the State of California make special arrangements just for them? Along the same lines, where does Jack Nicholson park when he goes to a Lakers game? Lastly, when the plague hit Egypt why didn’t Pharoah die? Wouldn’t he have been the first born son? (my theory is that Moses was older, and although he wasn’t an actual blood son, he was still considered the first born; of course he was protected by the blood on the door posts)
Who’s your daddy?
WHy is PHX better than the ATL? Good talking with you bro!
ummmmmmmmm. Dear Lord….
Wow….
These questions are easy. Someone give me something to use my nonseminary14yeartofinishbadegree on.
So how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop? And I know someone else already asked this (but mine is more specific)…any plans for anymore ink…if so, what? Hope you don’t have much on your agenda for the next couple days.
What part of your transition has been the hardest? What about for your wife?
What is the top three things on your “Bucket List?”
ok seriously, Anday Stanley has been our pastor in our home group for the last 3 years, via his small group DVDs….can you get me his autograph? or maybe a discount on the DVDs? ( ;
Here’s one for your nonseminary degree..
Why is the resurrection so important for Christian theology? (1 Cor 15:14) I mean, if the atonement of sins came through Christ’s death, why is faith useless without the resurrection?
Do you feel like you’re at a junket right now?
Taste great or less filling?
Do you have any advice for a Creative Director of a church that hasn’t even launched yet?
If I had a free Sunday, could I come visit you at Buckhead?
Got any inexpensive stage decoration/design or lighting ideas?

- Will you have coffee with me when I come up for the Orange Conference?
- What’d you think of the Sarah Connor Chronicles on Fox?

Favorite 90’s boy band?
Los – What is your daily/weekly agenda at Buckhead? Who and how many whos plan your weekend service? What are their job titles and job descriptions? What is the ratio of pastors to media folks at NP and BH? Any advice you can give a church that is starting an offsite venue this fall? And finally – How do you effectively communicate to elders and pastors the upmost importance of media and technology in church these days.
Blessings…
Are you seriously going to answer all these questions?
What is your best experience in worship?
How many tats do you have?
What’s the best advice to give an aspiring worship leader?
What’s your favorite Mac app?
How do you find God again when you feel so lost and forgotten?
I would of limit one question per entry. Why didn’t you?
What would you consider a hard question?
There ya go that’s my question.
Make it a great week!
Good idea. You have enough blogging material to last you the rest of the year now. And all these people will wanna hear it. Smart you are my friend. Here’s a few more:
Can I have some free drum loops to sample and try at our church from North Point?
What does the training/execution of your host teams look like at Buckhead?
Why is there braille on drive up ATM’s?
What is the actual definition and role of holy spirit baptism and when does it happen in the life of a Christ-follower? How does one know they have received it? (A slightly controversial one that might dip into that 14yr degree there.)

-What do each of your kids wants to be when they grow up?

Which question would be the best to save for last?
How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?
Does blogging (and having this many people respond) serve as a source of self-esteem? I mean, I’d feel pretty loved if this many people responded to my posts!
Protein style, animal style, spread, no spread how do you like it?
Can you ask your readers to come to my blog?
I’m absolutely flabbergasted at over 100 comments on one post in a matter of 6 hours.
Oh…and how’s life been since the vasectomy?
Did you ever find out if cranberries go good with nuts?
how did you find the job at BC?
are you hiring now?
can I be your personal assistant for 50k?
can my company bid for BC’s printing jobs and how would we do that, is there someone I can contact. Will you help me feed my wife in 08 by doing this?
if someone gave you 100,000 to use in ministry at your church tomorrow what would you do with it?
Are there any ethical adoption issues that weigh heavily on your mind?
Do you ever feel like we are all just contributing to the consumer mentality of Christians in America by creating big entertaining event-experiences for folks to “attend?”
I am not being critical, I am in the same boat. Sometimes I just wonder “to what end” are we doing all of this. What are we gaining? Is it so that we draw folks in? What happens when people are drawn in because they are entertained? Does production in worship (whiz-bang lighting, eye-popping video) become manipulation rather than inspiration?
Do you you wrestle with this too?
oooooo. Now we are getting somewhere. I can’t wait to tackle these. Keep them coming. Adam. Your’s deserves a dinner convo. Wanna fly to Atlanta?
I have a question Carlos.
How do you best see fit to follow through with your readers?
One large post?
Several sprinkled in a post a day for a few weeks?
Go hide in a hole?
Carlos
I scanned your “books” tag in the archive, where I learned your car is full of mags and books, so I assume you read, but my question is what do you read?
To which magazines do you subscribe? Which do you read cover-to-cover?
Have you read any books more than once because they were so good the first time through?
Who’s your favorite fiction writer?
What are your favorite non-fiction Christian books?
What’s your favorite non-fiction secular books?
Do you miss us? (sandalites….)
To compliment Adam’s question regarding entertaining events that attract…
How is Buckhead doing at turning attendees into members and members into ministers?
Do you see a steady flow of people moving into deeper relationships with God?
Josh Hunt teaches that a church does a good job of attracting visitors if 3% or more of a week’s attendees are newcomers. Are you hitting 3% or more?
Josh also teaches that a church does a good job of keeping visitors if 33% or more of visitors stick. Are you hitting 33% or more?
What sorts of folks are attracted to entertaining Christian events? Surely church growth has resulted, but how much of that growth was transferred from other churches and how much was new converts?
Would you like a free copy of “I WILL”? (http://www.iwillmovement.com)
I was going to ask a question. But instead I’ll just say this. HAAAA! You’d better just quit the job and start working on responses now. That’s what you get for being popular…
What do you do to keep innovative and creative, and not just following the mainstream or trends.
hey los! (something I struggle with)
how do you balance the “I’ve got so much stuff to do to get ready for Sunday”
with the
“I really need to be out from behind my macbook and building relationships with people”
?
what advice do you have for someone who is learning to play the guitar?
What do you order at Starbucks?
When Jesus said go out into the “deep”…where would “deep” be for you?
Is it hard to be humble?
Looking forward to ALL the answers!
forgot to add…
this is one courageous and creative post!
…and to add a smile after humble
(just a little blog envy…)
Fly me to Atlanta and I’ll help you answer all of these questions…of course then I’ll catch you employing your staff to answer them all.
Kudos for trying….

Outside the time limit…but why is your blog time zone still set to Pacific time?
Do you want me to start to answer the questions I know the answers to? H

Great idea dude, I think Alex who responded at 8:21pm a little ways up has the most important question on this entire page, please do whatever you can to answer his question.
Jesse
Is there life on other planets?

You are so in trouble.
Hey Carlos disregard my first question. It was a joke anyway. I really want to know how do find out how many people are reading from RSS feeds? How do you find out how many people visit your site?
i’m posting too late for an answer, but aren’t you kicking yourself for posting this? geez, 135 comments and some ask more than one question. good luck los.
btw–how do you deal with crazies on the net? i’m beginning to encounter some.
What is your nationality? Are you of mixed races?
I am gonna steel this post idea for my blog, thanks.
okay, not sure if this has been asked yet, but…
where do you get your clothes? love the style!!!
You are nuts! What in the world caused you to think of doing this?
Okay, I love Starbucks but I usually get the same ol’ Caramel Macciatto…what is a good alternative?
How did you get into ministry?
hey, could you hook me (a hardworking, eager, fun, and entertaining bible school undergrad) up with an internship at buckhead somewhere between now and say, 2011?
also, i’d like to bump adam and ken’s questions. nothing to add. just thinking along the same lines.
holy crap carlos–you’ve created a monster!
Women often chat with me who are having a hard time conceiving, thus are considering adoption. Some say they don’t want to miss out on a traditional body-birth experience. Having had the uber blessing of being able to deliver traditionally, as well as via adoption, I always let them know body-births and heart-births are the same thing. Our Gotcha day, the glorious day we held our baby girl from China, was as magical as the glorious day we delivered our boys traditionally. For as much as I love each of my children, celebrating their bents, helping them get to where God wants them to go, I have to admit their is a certain sense of longing associated with adoption that I am not sure I can explain. Can you help? Care to share your thoughts on body-birth’s and heart-births?
`Roxanne
PS: I am Loran’s sister in-law. He told me about your site. He is as cool as you are. He had me watch your Korea video. I balled like a baby. My site is not as cool as yours (I am a technical shmo), but here it is if you want to see a pic of our baby girl:
http://www.ourforeverfamilyphotos.blogspot.com/
Sorry Carlos, to be hogging so much space, but I found the poem I wrote on our “GOTCHA DAY.” I just wanted to share it with you – feel free to add your thoughts to my questions above. Here it is:
A Poem: ” The Wind Wispered…”
The wind wispered to the mother of our daughter’s birth, “hide my child in your womb, keep her safe, and I will protect you and your baby from laws harsh and unfair”. The mother shared her body with her baby, privately and in silence, but with a love from on high to protect her baby and give her a future she could not. On the day of her childs’ birth she took her baby to a safe finding place in the early dawn, hiding to protect herself from prosecution for a gestation forbid by her government.
Vendors were preparing for travelers in the sunny, pretty, bright, clean and airy bus station. Vendors and travelers understood the birth mothers’ angst, and in honor of the birth mothers’ courage, lovingly took the baby to the sweet officer who carried the new child to the loving orphanage. The small, loving orphanage, full of sweet, tender care, placed the new baby in the arms of a loving foster family: a dad, a mom, a brother and sister, until the babys’ forever family arrived.
Accross the ocean the wind spoke to the babys’ forever family and said, “A baby in the east will be born of your heart, and you will bring her to the west to be with you, her forever family: a dad, a mom, two brothers, one doggie – the new baby will be yours, and you will be hers forever. The daddy and mommy told the wind they know a baby born of their body or hearts are one in the same, and with joy and glee they patiently waited for the day to arrive for their new baby girl to be in their arms.
Now the baby is with her forever daddy and mommy – they ask the wind to bless, protect and honor the babys’ birth mommy, and cannot wait to return home to the west with their baby born of their hearts to meet her brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The wind said, “I will be with you and protect you everyday and always, just as I do with you, your two sweet sons, I will do with your sweet daughter”.
Good luck Carlos.
I bet it will be the last time you open the floor for questions. You have about 143 post (and many people have asked more than ONE question).
Have fun! You need to take a picture of yourself AFTER answering all 242423 questions looking all defeated and tired and such.
So i know that this is late my bad, but hey what Bands and groups to you look at to get ideas for music during the services??
I can’t wait to see the answers. (especially that tootsie pop question everyone keeps bringing up. Didn’t they count with the owl in the 70’s?)
I could do something like this, but it would only take me like 5 seconds to answer questions from my 3 or 4 readers.
When you sit down at the pre-production meeting, who is your favorite person at the table who is over 6′5?
