Imitation Is The Best Form Of Flattery?

Posted on 27. Feb, 2008 by loswhit in Tattoo/Ink

Um...

I’m starting to see a lot of tats with the same piece I used as my artwork.
People email me almost daily with requests for the art.
Weird to see it on other peoples arms. I must admit.
But I also must add, unless Hannah Aitchison does it, I would stay far away from attempting it.

I think Outback gift cards are the best form of flattery, but tat tributes are good, too!

los i would have to agree with you. a good friend of mine has had to pieces done by her. he’s a graphic designer/ artist and is very picky about art. he has one on each arm from the shoulder down to the elbow. he has nothing but great things to say about her as well…and the artwork she does (as you know) is just stinking awesome.

I know it is probably the angle, but it looks as if the horse has a carrot nose.

It is a cool tat but I’ll let you keep it! His does look a little amaturistic…

in looking at this again, that might be the worst horse i’ve ever seen.

yeah, his art didn’t work out nearly as cool. If someone saw his, without seeing yours, they may be fooled, but if you stood side by side it would be really awkward and painful…kinda like watching American Idol and having to listen through someone singing “Carry on my Wayward Son” completely flat…

    Yours is the real deal.
