We are going to be in the ATL interviewing for a job @ a church and want God to guide us and direct us.
I’m a single mom of four working part time for minimum wage because I can’t seem to find anything else. I rely heavily on the child support that never quite seems to get paid and I am drowning financially.
I am working on a 46 page background packet for my dream job as a 911 dispatcher – which is great but the volume of information is seriously overwhelming. Getting that job would change my life.
Please pray for God to provide financially over the next few months and that the job will come through in His time.

You know, I really have a blessed existence. i get all I NEED from him. What I would love to have? A child that speaks. But I’m pretty sure God is trying to tell me something with that one.
Thanks for your prayers! I am humbled. If you want to pray, pray for my son. That he finds a way to communicate, however that may be. As much as I long to hear his (what I envision is) adorable voice, all I really ask is that he is happy and safe.
Pray that God will give me patience in waiting for the right woman. That I will not fall prey to the lies of the enemy, will remain strong and confident because I am a child of God. Thank you.
I don’t know if I’m the new cancer survivor who you’re referring to, but yes, I’m living with Stage 4 Inflammatory Breast Cancer (left breast and metastasized to the liver) and have a 6 year old son who was adopted from Vietnam. I just started chemotherapy on Jan. 22 and will go through at least 6 months of chemotherapy before we do any other treatment options (surgery and radiation, most likely).
I need prayers for physical healing and spiritual strength and peace as I go through this journey.
I would also ask for prayers for my husband and son for strength and peace as they go through this journey as well. It is so hard on them.

2 Things that top my list where prayer is needed:
1. My best friend’s girlfriend is a former drug user and tried to go back out last week only to get beat up by the drug dealer, after that she picked up a bible I gave my best bud (neither are Christian) and the new Tim Keller book, they are both searching for hope-pray that they would put their trust in Christ as their only source of never dying hope.And that God would use me in their lives towards that end.
2. A man I meet with that is like a mentor to me, his son tried to commit suicide 2 days ago and the man and his wife are really praying and looking for answers of how to help and guide their son. They are a strong Christian family-Pray for wisdom for them, and that their son would find his hope in midst of his hopelessness in the gospel.

3. Personally: I’d like clarity from God about a few things. And by clarity, I mean, handwriting on the wall or letters of fire in the sky.

i’m Julia, i’m 27 and i’ve had chronic pain for about 15 years now. all day every day.
please pray that, no matter how much pain I have, I’ll always believe that God is good and loving, and that He is more than enough for me.
My husband is a High School teacher and works with students that are coming out of the prison system. He is on the lay-off list for next year because of budget cuts in California. Trying not to freakout but as of right now – CA is not hiring teachers and we don’t know what to do. Need direction and provision.

1) I just found out my brother survived a motorcycle accident a few hours ago, which could have been deadly, with just a sprained finger… thank you God!!
2) I fly home from Italy tomorrow
3) I realize, from being away from ‘real-life’ for a few weeks, how much I really don’t like my full time job. Before leaving I found out there may be some changes in the works but please pray for guidance and wisdom as God direct this aspect of my life. Please help me to remember its in his hands.

Our son is 12 and has Tourette’s. I have started praying diligently that he will be able to be without medication… total healing!
Also, we are in the process of adopting a daughter from vietnam and would appreciate prayers for her speedy homecoming.

I’m suffering from depression and have finally admitted that I’m an alcoholic. I’m in a partial day hospitalization program until I’m “stable” enough to go to an intensive outpatient program. Please pray that I will continue to remember that God loves me NO MATTER WHAT and that He has a plan and a purpose for me after the darkness has lifted.
mine is so superficial compared to what everyone else is going through. it should really put my stress into perspective, but i’m selfish, and i still want what i want.
will you please pray that in this casting process, that God’s will be done and that i will have peace during this very stressful time. i feel so uncomfortable right now and i hate it. i feel like so much of what the next stages of my life will be somehow hangs in the balance of this. i need perspective, seriously.
We will be finalizing the adoption of our 14 month old foster child in about 10 days. We’re praying for no roadblocks.
In a couple months I’m moving to Colorado Springs. I’m not moving out there with much, but will be living with family. Its basically to start a new fresh approach to life. I’m scared, don’t have much money, not sure what the immediate future holds. Um. On top of that life kinda just sucks. I hate getting up in the AM, I am not motivated, struggle with depression, etc. I’m hoping this all turns around. Thats it right now.

i’m in the midst of getting 5 student mission teams ready for this summer. the biggest hurdle is the budget of around $150K. totally overwhelming.

1. I just found out a friend is leaving her husband (they have 5 year old twin girls) because she wants “passion” in her life. 5 months ago she told me she looks up to me re:spiritual life. She suggested we get together for coffee. I didn’t follow up (I was kind of intimidated…too pretty, too cool. How stupid was that? I’m a grown woman, mother of 3, and I let my SELF get in the way of working for God). I really blew it. Please pray for a complete change of heart, and that she would be willing to talk to me. (She is now closed off because some girls gave her a lot of Bible thumping).
2. My husband and I are praying about moving to Rwanda to work with a Christian group doing economic development. We have small kids and don’t know if its unwise. We are praying, but I don’t trust my decisions. I want to SEE God’s answer. Please pray for clarity.

Thanks for doing this…I’m stepping way out of my comfort zone with this Body Journey thing I’m doing on my blog. I’ve already started receiving some veiled criticism. As a recovering people pleaser, it would be easy to cave under the pressure. But I know God wants this from me, and I must stand firm even when it scares me to death.
Please pray for my kids too. A week ago was the five year anniversary of when their dad went to heaven. They are 10 and 7.
Please pray for my friend Ramey who recently underwent brain surgery to remove a massive tumor. Also, my brother is in need of guidance and assurance and be willing to change.

He has never spoken, One of her greatest wishes is to hear him talk. Please pray that God would touch him and allow progress in his condition and that she and the rest of the family, doctors, etc would have to give the glory to God.

Seeking God for specific direction in the ministry He’s allowed me to watch over.
Prayer of thanksgiving for my two sons, ages 9 and 3 1/2. Both are adopted; the youngest has come to us from foster care, and we hope to finalize next month. We are very blessed to be a family.
I’m waiting for a travel call any day now to meet our daughter in Korea. I had a double root canal 2 weeks ago (after having a long bout with sinus infections) and the teeth are causing me pain and inflammation that needs to resolve before I can fly. Please pray for my physical strength so I can travel and be totally 100% for my sweet girl, for my 4 year old son who is struggling with the idea of me going to Korea and is understandably acting out a bit, and for my dh who is such a rock through it all!
Also, please pray for our friend’s son, Ben, who is 5. We are friends through our adoption group (he was also adopted from Korea). He has struggled in life with several medical and physical issues, and recently he was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of brain and nervous system cancer. He is undergoing intensive chemo for the next 9-12 months and is really struggling. The parents have already lost a child and it’s unimaginable that they might be facing this again. We pray for his strength, pain relief, and ultimate victory over this cancer and for all the family.

I am really struggling, on a lot of issues. Faith. Mental health. Physical health issues. The latter two I can handle, the first one is really tearing at my heart. A prayer for a good smack upside the head with a dose of the holy spirit would be a great start for #1.

I receive my teaching credential in approx. 4 weeks, after having worked towards this for the past 5 years.
I dunno if your aware of the INSANE budget cuts in CA, but no one is hiring teachers right now.
Pray that I get hired somewhere, in some school district, so that I don’t have to work at Starbucks with my teaching credential and masters. Boo.

Dear Father God,

According to my handy desktop widget that show the local time in the US, I missed your prayer session…cut me some slack, it was the like 4am here.
My wife, son and I are in Ukraine working at a camp. We currently have a vocational school going for 18-22 year old kids and the progress is slow and at time very frustrating. They are a group that has seen a lot, experienced a lot and is extremely hardened. As we teach and train them we are trying to show Christ through our lives. Very few are Christians – most being nominally Orthodox – and we are praying for them to see….whatever it takes to soften their hearts and bring them to the feet of our father.

I’m in the middle of candidating for a new church. man i need God’s guidance so much in this.
I go to church at First Lutheran Church in St. Paul MN, I am technical director at this amazing place. Unfortunately our Sr. Pastor was told he had CJD. CJD is a very rare disease. It easts away your brain until it is a big sponge of nothing. HE was informed about 6 weeks ago. He died last Monday in his bed, due to CJD. Could you please pray for the church and the family of Steve Mahan, a Great Sr. Pastor. Thank you!
