Pink eye is no fun to try and get rid of. Especially when your family is allergic to the standard treatment. Good luck!

if you put a hump on your back it would look, most likely, totally sweet.

  6. gillie 26 March 2008 at 5:54 am #

That is a pitiful picture if I’ve ever seen one.

  7. jenn 26 March 2008 at 6:01 am #

Made my eyes water just looking at your pic. Afraid you have it. Get to the doctor – wash your hands ALOT – do not touch your other eye or you will have it in both eyes. Very contagious. Sorry.

Or you had a stroke and gotta droopy eye?

  9. steven.russell 26 March 2008 at 6:33 am #

I think you have a case of Springtime Southern Allergies, bro.

Go get you some Zyrtec from the drug store and see if that helps.

If it does, no pink eye. If it doesn’t…pink eye.

Either way, Zyrtec is good to have down here.

I would actually have to say I think your diagnosis is correct. Pink eye looks like the case.

    …good-luck with that.

Do you have other allergy symptoms? If so, welcome to the south. I take an over the counter Claritan a day during allergy season and haven’t had allergy symptoms for a couple years now. If it’s Pink Eye….bro….let me know how that works out for ya. That is NO fun at all. Garbage.

I NEED IDEAS! – fun things to do together with staff, 1 hour or so, fun, or socially responsible projects that you can complete, that day, spur of the moment, take pictures/blog, and then ship project box to next recipients

    email jesse.phillips@catalystspace.com

    sorry Los, I’m desperate.

I thought I had pink eye a couple of weeks ago, but it turned out to be a stye. “The first signs of a stye are tenderness, pain and redness in the affected area. Later symptoms include itching, swelling, watering of the eye, sensitivity to light and discomfort when blinking.” The day after I got it (before I had the chance to go to a doctor–also: warning, this is going to be gross), I saw a little pimple on the inside of my eyelid, on that space between the lash line and my eyeball. I smushed it and my eye got better within ours.

You’re in the dirty south now—so do what us rednecks do. Just spray a dose of WD-40 up in there and you will forget all about any stinkin pink eye!

  21. Anna 26 March 2008 at 7:42 am #

I should be feeling sorry for you and offering sympathy, be it Pink Eye or allergies, but I’m still laughing about the whole “the right side of my face is sad” You are too hilarious.

  22. Chris 26 March 2008 at 8:40 am #

Los man it might be allergies. try some claritin and see if it clears up. I never had allergies until i moved to nebraska now I have severe allergies.

atlanta has a lot of pollen so i would think it’s just allergies.

  23. Jessica 26 March 2008 at 9:09 am #

I think you are half sad definitely. But in case it is conjunctivitis (hey man I went to collitch) you should get thee to an MD immediately – that stuff is like MAD contagious. Besides – being half sad is sorta like you don’t care enough to go all the way there. Love you ‘los – you make me laugh and cry – that’s a good thing. BTW I”m older than your mother so it is OK to say this stuff -I’ve got my OWN hot man thank you very much.

I don’t chime in often, but I just noticed your eye prob. A few weeks back I had the same thing. I found an OTC eye drop that is GREAT!! It is Zaditor (it use to be prescription) It is an antihistamine eye drop. I used it and was feeling relief fairly quickly.

    Walgreens carries it!!

  28. alicia 26 March 2008 at 7:10 pm #

Best way to cure it… Hot compresses. And wash your pillowcase daily.
