Worship Confessional 42 – Good Friday ‘08

Posted on 23. Mar, 2008 by loswhit in Worship Confessional, Worship Leading

It is Sunday morning and we have had a good 6000 or so people here with one more service tonight.
Who says video church doesn’t work?
My voice is almost shot but I’ll carry through.

This will only thrill those of you who care about the behind the scenes stuff.
And its 10 minutes. :)

Confess Yourself.

Great sneak peak. Never made it down to the Buckhead campus…but it looks like you guys have a ton of fun creating the worship environment…

    Los,
Awesome man! I believe this was one of your best. Maybe I’m a behind-the-scenes junkie.

I LOVE the behind the scenes stuff. The talent the entire team uses to worship God astounds me every time I witness it!

WOW! I’ve been to churches that have less people in attendance then you have volunteers.

It’s just amazing seeing all the work that goes on behind the scenes… Thanks for this brief glimpse.
I hope you and your family get some much needed rest this week & I hope you have a wonderful Easter.

Carlos–thanks for the opportunity to serve, worship, & take communion with your team on Friday. In spite of all the early computer issues and stuff, it was so cool to see God take the service itself and make it smooth & free of distractions for the glory of his son and to commemorate the debt he paid for us. You have a such a kind & patient team and it’s such an honor to get to play even a small role in this journey to drive people toward authentic worship. We’ve been praying for Buckhead Church all day today and I hope that this weekend’s services touch the people of Buckhead as much as they’ve touched Miranda and I. Thanks for taking the time to document it!

Man, Big Los! Thanks for sharing the backstage with us. This video made me appreciate BC even more. I apologize for my selfish attitude on my comment the other day. Who cares what I felt? Jesus was the center of it all while great people were serving others… and that is what matters. It was really awesome!

Again, the Isaiah 53 video was ninja! Loved it! Loved it! Could you share it? I’d like to put it on my blog (with proper credits, of course).

    Los -
I did a short piece on your tattoo on a new site I am writing. Short story is: I hate when christians just rip off secular ideas and put a God spin on them, e.g. “Got Jesus” instead of Got Milk. So I did exactly that as a way to discuss silly things like that and started a new site called:

    http://www.stuffchristianslike.net

check it out if you get a chance.
I’m writing some stuff with Tripp for Drive and might run into some time at NP or buckhead.

clear plexiglass always reminds me of the pastor melissa scott show. have you seen that? not that glass painters you guys had weren’t cool, just sharing my own tangent.

i know it won’t be crazy easter, but i simply can’t wait to see a service in action. looking at may 18.
