A Day In The Life…
So this is thanks to Longbrake. I am now addicted to making tame lapse films of my life.
Last night I literally slept downstairs in the guestroom with the light on and time lapse running.
I now have video of me sleeping for 8 hours.
Or 28,000 seconds.
Played back in 2 minutes.
Or 180 seconds
One picture
Every 5 seconds.
24 frames (pictures) per second.
Poof. You have Time Lapse
My experiment for the day was to take an image with my iSight camera on my laptop every 5 seconds.
Left it running and forgot it was on most of the day.
What I ended up with was pretty freaking sweet.
Enjoy a day in my life…

Isn’t it crazy how you notice all kinds of mannerisms about yourself that you had no clue about before?!
As cool as that is and valuable to prove to the world what moms do all day, there is no way in hell I’m going to put my parenting on film. I don’t need that kind of evidence hanging over me!

I understand the process, but what is the easiest way to clip the pics to the right length? I assume you did it in imovie right? Surely you didn’t manually enter the length of time that each pic should show.
Tips? Pointers? My readers would LOVE this…I wanna try it out!

Never thought I’d get much enjoyment watching someone else’s day but i must admit that this was pretty wicked. I too text during a drive… while it isn’t the safest form of communication on the road, I do seem to arrive at places without know how I actually got there (makes me feel like a time traveler). I’ve enjoyed the bit of webspace for sometime now… Peace and Love.
