Welcome to another installment of our virtual creative conference.
PLEASE GO READ THE RULES FOR INVOLVEMENT HERE!!!
This week is going to be a bit different.
I want us to post on where it is that we go to find our personal creativity.
And it HAS to be outside the office.
And Tell Us Why…

Me.
Easy.
Starbucks @ Tower Place and Piedmont.
Why?
Because that place is ALWAYS hosting the hustle.
Suits swooning over each other in interviews and deals being made.
Right in the heart of Buckhead and a 3 minute walk from my office.
When I sit in there, I see all the people who could come into the doors of my church.
And I create for them.
Next to them.
Now it is your turn.
Where do you find your greatest creative outlet takes place?
YOU MUST DO A CREATIVE CHAOS POST ON YOUR OWN BLOG AND LINK BACK HERE IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE!!!

That way we all get the love.
Los

hands down for me where i get creative is when doing a mundane task. taking a shower, doing the dishes, vacuuming, folding laundry.

My most creative ideas come to me when i’m in the shower or running…or…when i’m in the rocky mountains. I find the most random places as well. Plane flights are the best for me too. all of these places i can get lost in…well not the shower…but my mind can get quite and listen…

Love the question this week! I could talk the horns off a billy goat on this subject. But for the sake of blogdom, I kept it simple. :)

i kinda posted before reading, whoops. I get my creativity by being with the creative people I love. I feed off their ideas and energy, just like a band. Creating in that environment is butter.

Los, Thanks for the forum to share ideas and gain creative inspiration. This blog is a great source for creativity. I personally have gained a lot from the posts on this site and I hope I am able to in return share thoughts, insights and ideas on my own blog. That’s the great thing about blogging.

sadly, or maybe not sadly, i have decided just yet, but my creative place is absolute “zoneness” – i can be in the office but i HAVE to be wearing my ear buds, i have to be left alone. it is my introvertness. i also find creativity through the sheer opportunity to be creative. have you ever been in a position where your creativity is halted, micromanaged or smothered? it is suffocated place to be. who can actually be creative in that kind of environment?

what needs to be taught and learned… is simply this… some people are born to be analytical and logical, but some are just born to think outside of the box and can’t be bound by any sort of dimensions… let them.

Creativity for me comes in many places: the city, the theater, the movies, coffee shops, museums, travel, shops and more.

I like how simple you’ve been this week with your creative chaos entry.

I would say most of us will sit here and think to ourselves, “what is something amazing(as in big lights, in awe of) we can enter for Creative Chaos”. You have stripped that down and done something that is creative in an amazing way, just a different type of amazing.

    Good post.

It was time to finally jump in on the conversation. What is it about coffee that breeds creativity?

I wish I was creative so I could participate. This is a little exclusive, isn’t it? (j/k)

I like to compose in silence. Let my mind travel without limitation. Write it all down later, once it’s finished.

Ours isn’t so much “creativity” as it is just trying something new. I have tons of creative ideas….some I steal from Buckhizzle and others I try to come up w/on my own.

My daughter is my best source of creativity. Trying to think like a child can bring out the best creative chaos.

so i am lame and don’t have a blog but my best creative moments come while i am cooking or baking.

i definitely agree with almost everyone’s input. creativity comes through so many activities and processes. i could name so many places and things that inspire me, but on my post i limited it to two: the coffee shop and cleaning/exercise.

Wow! I am so happy that I have successfully done the Mr. Linky thing. I am feeling very creative now.
I have a job that requires me to create before I actually begin the work. That is why my back yard garden spot is so well suited for my creative juices to flow.
That is not to say that I do not have to be creative on the job! In the film industry, that can be anywhere! I have felt like I needed to pull a hairstyle out of my butt before. Talk about creative.
