If this is your first experience with this free creative web collaboration, it is simple.

You link people back here.

You can read the original post here…

This week is not a specific question like last week.
Just blog about the creativity in your lives and link away!!!

My entry this week is our Just Ask Booth.
This is a project that Amber oversaw where we give a place for our people to tell their stories of how they ended up at Buckhead Church.
Who asked them?
When Was It?
The concept seemed like a great idea but the implementation got a little complicated. As you can see from the pictures we basically found an old vintage phone booth and had Debbie Woodall paint it for us. Inside the booth we wired a camera and a monitor so that they could see themselves.
The camera was attached to a MacBook and we had a host outside the booth taking their information down and running iMovie.

The stories that were captured and continued to be captured are amazing, hilarious, uncomfortable, REAL.
I challenge you guys to do something simular.
When the door shuts, people talk.
Now it’s Your turn.
Blog About it, link here, then fill out the form below and join in some CREATIVE CHAOS!!!

Great concept!!! U2 did this on their zoo tv stadium tour in the early 90’s. They would play the ‘confessionals’ at the end of the show in between encores…it was nuts and cool all in the same moment…pretty fun…real…shocking…

So los…15 hours later? I was up last night waiting for the clock to strike!

Love this idea .. so, our “Creative Chaos” was in FamJam, where kids bring their parents to church ….

We are doing a series on “joy” … and it involved a dance contest … so, we brought out our cast members, and got them to do a spoof on “Evolution of Dance”. I suppose it’s funny to anyone, but for those of us there, who know these guys and who they are in “real life” … we hurt from laughing so hard!

I don’t think my post abides by the rules, but I do want to link to it.

May 4, we’re stirring up some chaos in Wichita, KS. Our Jesus-inspired movement, Breathe, is launching again (for the third time) in Club Sensations, a strip club. We’re going to grab the opportunity to engage and bless people who are typically disregarded and judged.

It should be interesting. For more, check out http://breathemovement.org.

I think that “Jesus-inspired” is too soft. Let me say “Jesus-driven, focused and committed” movement.

lights and seating, setting a tone.

That’s an incredible idea. The booth idea is simple yet the to have all of those stories is powerful.

Hmmm… I like it, I’m trying to see some of my people in the booth…

What a creative idea–people know about these things from the reality shows and now they are part of it. What did you do with the footage? Show it in church? Did they have to sign a release for it to be used?

    Interesting!

This is a great idea. I’m trying to picture some of our folks in this booth; and I think we would need to do a little modification for the 8th heaviest state in the country. Buckhead is much more fit than our church. ;-)

    Done. Thanks Los.

I don’t really have a blog right now. And I didn’t really do anything all that creative. I work at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and several people I work with are members of the church where that guy came in a shot and killed two people last Sunday. One of our professors here tackled the guy and was instrumental in saving other people’s lives. All I did was send an e-mail to the professor with 4 lines that said basically, “You are loved.” He ended up sharing my e-mail with the members of his church and people I don’t even know have been contacting me to say thank you. I said all that to say how amazed I am at how God can take something so simple and turn it into this major deal, and people get healed. God is awesome. And sometimes we just overcomplicate stuff. Sorry for the long comment.
