This Capo Was Not Paul’s Friend
Meet Paul and Kimberly.
They are from a great church in Fresno where I used to attend when I lived in the No.
Kimberly and I go way back and I met Paul through blogging.
Paul is a great example of Authenticity.
ESPECIALLY sharing this clip with the world.
This is a GREAT example of how an amazing band can be destroyed by a $5.99 piece of plastic.
Props to Kimberly and Paul for stopping that madness and starting over.
There is nothing better than getting a few chuckles at the expense of your friends.
Guarantee you will double check that capo tomorrow morning.
Glorious Clip.

Nice. Glad to see Paul’s vid on Ragamuffin. Wanna see more of Paul?

They handled that really well – great recovery. It’s good to have a sense of humor.
Ha! My husband and I were watching this together and we were just CRINGING!! The restart was definitely inspiring.
Hahahah. Our team has done that before. One time our drummer forgot what our new song sounded like. That took two start overs
Lovely. Lord knows I’ve been there…
Been there done that…on DVD at a big youth conference. Embarrassed.
That’s so sad;(
this had to happen on the one day that we had an extra camera in there filming! Thanks for posting it and sharing my embarrassment…um…er…authenticity with your readers.
Happens to the best…saw Bono and the Edge start way off on a song live once at a U2 concert. They stopped, made a joke, and moved on. Certainly happens to us on occasion!
Just one more reason that I strive not to use a capo. Was handled incredibly well though!!
Beautiful. I think I’ll try it tomorrow just for kicks. I’ve certainly stopped the band before for playing too slowly to make them speed up. I should give this a try.
i lead worship and so many times that little things screws with me and the right key! it can be your best friend and the worst enemy all at the same time!
heh heh – been there (kinda sorta) and done that.
Our church is a capella. I sing bass on the praise team. One morning, as the praise team started singing one song, I jubilantly and quite loudly, started singing another…
Everybody else kept going and I kept laughing.
been there – done that. welcome to the club
thats awesome, because i have been there before at ridgepoint church. we all have capo issues now and again. i’ll definitely think twice before i start strumming chords and leads now!
Joyful noise.
Oh, man. This is like old times. Like last week.
Capos are for slackers. If you don’t use one, you won’t have that problem.
hysterical! been there… done that… It kinda gets you red in the face…
Bravo! I love when people mess up, are okay with it being exposed and not getting all wigged out. Makes everyone more human and lovely.
