I don’t think I’d ever comment and say stop, I’d just say thanks, thanks for showing and reminding us what it means to love our wife, our family, our life, and our world.
thanks for the posts, a friend recommended this site and my wife and I sat on the couch yesterday watching your videos, we cried as you traveled for your son, we laughed at how you two expressed life and joy, and were reminded to dream of ways we can take our life and the world around and use them for good.
Melissa…I actually have talked w/ my husband, when I glance over at his macbook and he’s on los or heather’s blog and say, “please know that I will probably NEVER get up to that”
…themed family nights and pre-cooked meals when she goes on trips, multiple blog posts a day, and she still keeps track of three amazing kiddos!
These whittaker blogs need to come w/ such a warning for the rest of us!
Amen, Cathi!! They both make the rest of us mere mortals look bad in comparison!
I hope that Los and Heather know we’re not being mean, just poking a little fun at how perfect they seem. That’s not a bad thing!
I sometimes wish my hubby read this blog. My guy is the type who washes and waxes your car rather than bring you flowers. But, since I’m horrible about remembering to wash the car, it works perfectly for us! It’s all about learning to appreciate the other person’s “love language”. (Whose terminology is that? I’m afraid to know!)
Los, what a beautiful family you have! And the girls’ hair is lovely.
My family totally made me feel appreciated today…and as a mom of six, I really needed that. Glad to know you appreciate your beautiful wife and kids. They are truly a gift.
No sense in being ashamed of the blessings (something in Scripture about not hiding your light) Having said that: GOD does set the bar waaaay up there through those Whittakers!!! May HE empower a few more of us to give Him glory.
Do other men leave you comments saying “STOP already! You’re making us look bad!” ???

…either empower us or put us out of our misery!
