What audiobooks are you packing? Anything good? I need some good stuff to read. I think the book that made the most change in my Christian life was The Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne. It rocked my world. I still haven’t done big things at this point, since I have 2 kids with high-functioning autism and also a 14 year old, and I am homeschooling them all. I am a youth leader at our church though, and that rocks.

A close second to Shane’s book, though, was Velvet Elvis, by Rob Bell. I love that book, too. I feel like finally someone gets it.

So what camera are you using to take this picture? You have all your goods laying out there….is this some backup camera in case the canon, nikon, iphone, and isight go bad?

Two comments. 1 – Please snap a picture of the security guard at Hartsfield who makes you take all that out to inspect and 2 – Can you tell us how many total feet the length of those electrical cords is going to be. I think I’d set the over/under at 30.

I wish I had four(4) of those items:

1. Mac Laptop (I’m tired of my PC)
2. iPhone (I’m with Verizon, I might as well stop wanting)
3. Nikon D300 (My buddy has that camera, it’s amazing)
4. External HardDrive (Mine just said goodbye…it was a sad sad day)

So if you’re looking for any gift ideas for me anyone, there you go.

This post like many on your blog is such a tease! The writing is always top notch and relevant. But at the risk of sounding whiny, I thought I’d give you a heads up.
The shade of green you use for hyperlinks is hard to read on crappy monitors on the grey background. I’ve tried to read your work on 2 different crappy monitors, and most of them, it’s pretty much impossible. Since linked words are often the most important part (this post is a point in case) I’m left with the option of either guessing or clicking them so that they turn a different color.
