…because roughly 90% of the 600 students that came to the youth ministry I last volunteered for thought I was by far the coolest and most trust worthy leader on staff. (makes ya feel good knowing you’re doing something right)
I am mother to six happy kids, wife to a wonderful husband, homeschooling mom, adult worship leader, youth worship leader, creative arts minister & an all-around great gal!
And just so you know, the only way this is possible is to live on less than 4 hours of sleep a day.
I’m a big deal because I watched my daughter leave for Prom tonight, and even though I had to terrorize her date just a little, I knew that I could trust her completely. That makes me a big deal!
Other than that…I’m kind of no deal at all except that I am a real deal.
I’m a big deal because I won the Military Motherhood Award. Will it matter in a month? Nope. But for today, it’s AWESOME to be the Military Mom of the Year!
but, you see, I am not a big deal. I am just a big man. I am not a big deal because i stopped trying to be a big deal. I am a big deal because of the price that was paid for my freedom?
I don’t want to be a big deal.
I’m a big deal because…well…you know all my answers sound kind of pompous so I’ll just shut up. Because I’m humble. That’s why I’m a bid deal. I”m super humble.
Because I ROCK! I am funny and fabulous. I am great with kids, a wonderful friend and a complete and total original! I’m the coolest person you’ve never met!
A little over 3 yrs ago I gave birth to a 1lb.4oz. baby girl and she’s still here to give me big hugs and flowers on Mother’s Day. Really that makes her the big deal… and since God carried her and gave her the will to live, I guess that actually makes Him the big deal. So really, it’s not about me today. It’s about Him.
No one is a big deal. Lose your life to gain it, become the least to be the greatest, bragging about being a big deal is just not the way to go in my opinion.
…because I have climbed Mt. Everest AND directed a feature film. Just kidding about Everest, but I did direct a feature film. At times that felt like climbing Everest.

Actually – none of that makes me a big deal – that all makes Jesus a pretty big deal.
Rock on Jesus.
