I wouldn’t expect anything less from a fan of Aplle Each year Apple runs an film festival with basically the same rules for high school & college students.

Great job finding something creative and doing something with it for the church!

All movies are created with iMovie and the iLife package. Each team is given two computers, some training, a camera, microphone, and the following guidelines. This year will be the fifth year we’ve done this, and it’s the first year we’re doing it at Buckhead Church. Also it has been in January in years’ past. We’re looking forward to warmer weather for outside shots. Other guidelines are:

- A phrase that must be used in the film… in this one, the phrase was “Pedro offers you his protection”
- A prop (in this case, a mexican hat)
- A place (a drivethrough window in this case)
- At least one extra
- Every person in the team must participate
- No copyrighted materials

Do you have volunteer editors as well, or does an editor from your staff assist the teams?

Great idea – I love it when volunteers are equipped for ministry!
