My brother and I are rarely together.
So when he got to fly out from San Diego we thought it would make our dads day by us sitting side by side and telling him how rad he is.

That was awesome. My Dad died the Friday after father’s day last year. We got to have some great talks like this in the months before he passed away. It’s funny, I still catch myself preparing to call him when I have a problem that I know he would have the answer to. I miss him a lot.

Um since someone else mentioned it, I’ll second it: your bro’s eyes are loverly.
And it is cool, huh, when you realize that your parents/dad *prays* for *you*, huh. I guess it’s something that maybe I take for granted being raised as a Christian, but when my mom offhandedly mentioned that together they pray *for me every morning* — I was overwhelmed. Grateful. Who knows just what those prayers have done, what they’ve gotten me through. What an expression of love.
