Monday Bloody Monday

Picture 4-19The least creative of my days is today.
But alas, days like today help the rest of my days become more creative.
I can’t create unless I have the information.

When are your “meeting days”?

I can identify… Monday and Tuesday launch me into the rest of the week.

Wednesday mornings are our meeting day. It is all morning. It kills me! Afterwards, I feel totally drained, and unproductive.

Also mondays…and also the day we put final programming touches on the weekend service which is incredibly challenging since we are “touch and go” from the past weekend.

Tuesday morning our church staff meets. My friend and co-worker calls it a “staff-infection.”

Interesting subject. I wrote on the “daily grind” this week so that’s at least sort of on point.

Alternate thursdays are staff “beatings” for me. I’ve been at a company for over 25 years and I avoid meetings like the plague when possible.

Just got out of one here at home with the Father. My back porch is where I have “offline” meetings like that a lot. He just told me He would take care of me. That was cool and a little embarrassing at my age.

HE keeps putting sparrows in my path. Aside from the obvious (watches the sparrow), I think He’s trying to tell me something. I still can’t put my finger on it, but, when I can have an encounter like that kind of meeting, it changes me and everything about my week.

Tuesdays (usually)…and I love them! I’m one of those crazy left-brainers on a team of super creative, right brained designers, worship leaders, and media producers. And, I agree. Good communication gets the creative juices flowing…and in the right direction. Which helps conserve that precious commodity called “time”.
