That was an interesting experiment.
An average of 235 of you joined with me on this journey home.
I like figuring out new ways to use “old” communication tools like twitter.

I came along, but I didn’t walk …I just sat and clicked the refresh button over and over and over to see what happened next! You are so cool Carlos! I’m glad you came to Georgia!
I was with you the whole way… my updates probably didn’t go to your phone of course but I probably updated with every tweet you posted.
Course I was the one who said don’t pick up the bag and told you jack bouer would have slid down the escalator instead of walking but you made the 505 anyway.
You also had people on at least two continents stressing out with you getting back with the bag ok ((me @scottfillmer) and @supersimbo). I think @supersimbo said he couldn’t go to be (he is in Ireland) until u got home ok. haha.
Felt like I took marta home from work today, and I am in Alabama.

I followed. Luckily it was during my “unwind” time. It was quite the adventure. I must admit, I may steal the idea–just gonna be honest.

I caught up after being gone most of the afternoon. It was fun!

I followed along, I think it would be really cool to do the journey home using Gawker so we would have a nice time lapse video to watch.

Dude, I followed it was the highlight of my day. Seriously…
I kept envisioning the guy coming back for his bag. He is totally freaking out now. He’s working with security, pouring over the surveillance videotapes. Now they’re looking through Codis for a facial recognition match to the guy who took off with the prized bag, full of top secret notes.
I did not follow along but my kids and I enjoyed seeing your journey after the fact. Thanks for picking up the bag – it gave me a chance to talk them about helping others out.

Carlos, you rock. That was a great ride/walk home! Who wants to bet it is someone utterly cool who is going to connect Carlos with someone even more amazing when Carlos returns the bag? Or there’s a reward… or we get to see it on live mogulus when Carlos returns it. Instead of EdTV we have CarlosTV. Thanks for giving us all a fix today.

I came along for the journey. I can’t believe you stumbled upon a backpack full of goodies. All I ever find are pennies and the occassional dime.
Me too. Who knew that a trip home could be interesting? And ditto with the bag. You’ll probably take pictures with the owner won’t you?
I had to take my daughters to ballet right when your journey was starting so I’m catching up now. My trip wasn’t nearly as interesting as yours. Can’t wait to hear about the bag. I hope it’s someone famous.

Because of you (I was about to type @loswhit … ha!), I started taking the train/bus.
Every day is an adventure. Every walk is something completely wonderful.
Best part, because of my iPod and Shure headset, I have the best soundtrack in the world.
