I would sing “Change Your World” from Hillsongs 3 times – at 6minutes each I would modify the last one….. I would play a video of children in Africa in the background while singing the song.
I never know the titles to any of the songs…but looking at the previous suggestions, definitely include Hosannah, Mighty to Save, Hungry, Enough, and Worship You. You know that last one, don’t you?
So yeah. I have no idea if my titles are right for all of them, nor do I know if that adds up to anywhere near 20 minutes, but at least you have my vote.
“In the Sanctuary” (it’s fun, upbeat, and totally different than the typical contemporary songs that we tend to always sing)
“Mighty to Save”
“Everlasting God”
“Take My Life (and Let it Be)”
Praise Belongs To You – Phil Laeger
Praise Adonai – Paul Baloche
Lord Let Your Glory Fall – Matt Redman
Holy Moment – Matt Redman
Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) – Chris Tomlin
Indescribable – Chris Tomlin
1. Open with Sing to the King –
2. How He Loves or Lift High
3. Then Phil Wickam’s – “True Love”
He did this at 722 and told a great story and engaged the audience
4. Then roll into the chorus of Casey Darnell’s “No Greater Love” and fade out with that.
3 Classics for me
1.) My Redeemer Lives
2.) I Believe!!! Oh oh, I believe
3.)Lord I lift your name on high
There is one more I love and I know its sooo old and a little boring but it brings back memories of my great grandmother…the song just relaxes me and helps me to focus on god, the garden is the perfect place…
4.)I come to the garden alone by C.A. Miles
I would go with (and keep in mind that I’ve been in Africa for 2 months, so I’m SO out of the loop):
1. A Message (Coldplay)
2. You Are Holy (Nichole Nordeman, City on a Hill 2) – maybe drop the beat a bit :O)
3. Hosanna or Take My Life
4. Nothing Without You (Bebo Norman)
5. God of this City
You Are (w/ Life in Technicolor riff)
Thank You (swing/blues)
Love Can Change the World (Andy’s spiffy new version)
Holy, Holy, Holy + Holy Almighty (w/ Sigur Ros keys)
You Are (just the chorus)
At least that’s the set I’m looking at leading up here in GR in a few weeks!
1) Everything – Tim Hughes
2) One Name – we do a version where the music is a song by the Marshall Tucker Band…it’s a standard for our church
3) Sweetly Broken
4) At the Cross
Wow, what a good question. Hmmm, How about Oh Praise Him(All This For a King)by David Crowder and then Take it all, Hosannah and From The Inside Out by Hillsong United. Man, they just have the best worship songs down under..
Here is my Life (or Unashamed) – both Broken Vessels
Shackles – Mary Mary
I’ll Fly Away – the Jars of Clay version
Your Love, Oh Lord – Third Day
My camera is headed to the ATL to an indie repair shop – hope y’all treat it well… The ATL Mercy General is saving me about 80 bucks over the Canon Aristocratic Hospital.
btw… you should check out Broken Vessels… gifted songwriting and an amazing band… just make sure you get the correct BV. http://www.brokenvessels.com. Momentum Award for Worship Artist of the Year @ CIA Summit. I’m the Summit photog. They zoomed to my favorites on the first song.
-I Will Lift My Eyes – Bebo Norman
-To You – Enter the Worship Circle (Second Circle)
-Before the Throne of God Above (Shane and Shane do a great version of this on their album Pages with a refrain they added)
-Continue To Love Me – Enter the Worship Circle (Third Circle)
And for your special music you’ve pretty much got to do How He Loves by John Mark McMillan (though sung amazingly by Kim Walker on the We Cry Out album and on youtube..)
If you haven’t already, go and check out Keith and Krystin Getty at their website. I think it is Getty music. Higher throne is absolutely amazing. They have been the worship leaders at Spring Harvest here for a few years and their music is wonderful.
So
Higher Throne
King of Kings, Majesty – this is my favourite worship song of all time. I have a google video up on my blog now if you want to listen to it.

I think we pretty much did at least 20 minutes of “Open up the Skies” by Jonathan Stockstill/Deluge this past week and just ran with the Holy Spirit. That song really can mess you up!! gah.
“We won’t be satisfied with anything ordinary/we won’t be satisfied at all… open up the skies/we don’t want blessing, we want YOU….”
I would have to say it depends on the what the Pastor is preaching on. That being said this week we are doing “We Cry Out” Kim Walker style followed by “In His Presence” by the one and only Jason Upton! Should be an epic beginning to the service as we continue our series on prayer called “Point of View”.
Hosanna
We Shine
Lead Me to the Cross
How He Loves Us
God of this City
that’s probably more like 25 minutes, but a little more worship never hurt anyone.

So yeah. I have no idea if my titles are right for all of them, nor do I know if that adds up to anywhere near 20 minutes, but at least you have my vote.

Sorry, I really am not a worship leader. Those 3 just happens to be what I want to sing right now … yeah.. right now.

Happy Sunday.
