Humbling and frustrating in a way. You guys are willing to end something that by most of our standards is REALLY “working” in order to do the right things. On the other hand, most of our churches are unwilling to change or end the programs that aren’t even “working” in the first place because it’s really a preferance.

Ouch.

Here’s my wild guess from Germany: 722 is going to fuse with the new church plant that Christ Tomlin, Louie Giglio and Matt Redman are starting in ATL in the Fall.

I’ll be moving to ATL then.

Los will be heading the production team then.

I’m right there with you Carlos. 7|22 shaped me in more ways then they will ever know. It’s a sad day for sure but at the same time i feel it’s a challenge. Rather then take up your ether I’ll just divert your eyes (and those of your visitors who are interested) to my blog post.

I feel like my worship leading style has been shaped by watching the 7|22 stream for all these years. I hate to see it go, mainly because it was my ONE place to go online and experience a modern worship service done right! It served as the inspiration for what we’re trying to do in our own church.

Carlos — please consider convincing the folks at NP/Buckhead to stream their entire service (not just the sermon) so the worship leaders like me can continue to find encouragement and inspiration from Todd Fields, Kristian Stanfill, Eddie Kirkland, etc. I feel almost like it’s been a long-distance mentoring relationship by watching these guys do what they do, and I hate to see that end! Now, I’ll be left watching cheesy, half-hearted, poorly produced worship services from other churches online…

Still, I must echo what everyone else has said. I admire them for seeking God’s will above just being comfortable with the status quo. Blessings on you all!

Well done; excited to see the step of what “Doing what nobody else is doing to see the ministry reaching those who nobody else is reaching!”

what a way to end a legacy. goin out strong! 722 changed my life and my ministry and is a huge reason for where I’m at today. Thank God for 722, for leaders who are brave enough to listen to God and then do what he says. I’m in awe.

Wow.
I am absolutely humbled to tears by all the encouragement and support from everyone here – even from those of you who may have never even set foot inside our doors. 7|22 has been a huge part of my heart for so long, and it’s one of the hardest things i’ve ever had to lay down, but we are trusting that God has something even greater in store for the singles of Atlanta.

Los and all his Ragamuffiners, thank you for your faith in our team, and in what God is stirring up here in Atlanta.
