We have been doing something similar with The Andrew Landers Project (http://www.andrewlandersproject.com) that is more of a "band" approach. Andy is our worship leader and ALP is a ministry of the church (http://www.calvaryonline.org) in which we have been getting out into the community to meet people where they are. We feature a lot of well-known musicians from the area and have gained quite a following on our own. People are looking to fill the void. They have been drawn in, and lives have been changed. It has been awesome! I believe God will use BMP in a big way. We will pray it does! Great work! AWESOME! We weren't all on the same page - some of us wanted to do worship, some wanted to have church, some wanted to play non-worship (what exactly is that) ... Bottom line - we weren't clear on vision, target, or strategy, and it was pretty stinkin' awkward. Sounds like you have clear vision and leadership - should be amazing.
