Got back into the youth office after a few weeks away to find our pot of coffee that had been left, full, for the duration of that time..

There was some solid mould on the top.

Needless to say, out comes the phone to take a photo to send to my workmate who weren’t in…

The rest is pretty obvious history..

It still works, but there’s a cool brown patch behind the glass over the screen.

my fiance dropped it in a cup of water. her mom paid for a new one. then i dropped that one and it just hasn’t been the same.

my wife dropped her phone in a glass of Coke. she tried to clean it off and clean out the insides, but once she got it dried off, it was all sticky and it still wasn’t working right. i told her to drop it in a glass of water to see if that helped. so then instead of a sticky phone that tunred on but did nothing else, we ended up with a really clean phone that did nothing. i’m not sure which was better…

You are a real trooper. My son Benjamin, 2 years old, hosed my iPhone down while I dried off the dog after giving him a bath. It made me really evaluate what was important.I chose the phone.

Well…Phone number one died while taking a swim in my purse that a water bottle had emptied into along with a borrowed digital camera. I was on a 3 week trip to IHOP in KC and had to rely on others for communication with home…Phone number 2 got left in the Cincinatti Airport a year later on my way back up to IHOP in KC and phone number 3 (my new blackberry) is NEVER going with me to KC!

OK. This didn’t happen to me, but we had a phone we used at our office and one of my employees had it in her pocket. She went into the bathroom and when she stood up, it fell in the toilet. We have automatic flushing toilets. I called Verizon and told them the phone went down the toilet. He said, “Oh, I’m sorry. What’s wrong with it?” I said, “NO REALLY – It went DOWN the toilet!”
