Not a pretty thing, but my daughters asked the same thing. "Can we keep it?" I answered like any typical boy. "Sure!" Well, that meant weekly trips to the local exotic (read: lizards, spiders & snakes) pet store to buy feeder crickets with the hopper legs trimmed. Of course, putting one of those crickets into the spider's cage was the same thing as catching a cricket. Lots of screams - including mine - but it somehow wound up being my job. But it was really cool to watch the spider tackle a cricket and suck it like a crawdad... The following spring, "Wolfy" was released into the wild. Now why this comment: does the youth pastor at buckhead church have a blog? not sure if you have a seperate high school or middle schol pastor, but I'd be interested in both.
