  9. Adam S 5 September 2008 at 8:55 am #

I imagine that the lead singer gets lots of practice, “turning his cheek when people laugh at him.” Wow.

  10. James 5 September 2008 at 8:56 am #

It takes mad skills to sing and play bass at the same time.

  11. bub 5 September 2008 at 8:57 am #

Zapppp!! That guitar player was rockin the 70’s Walrus stach. Guess I know what I will be humming all day.

  12. joel gutowsky 5 September 2008 at 8:57 am #

  19. jimkastkeat 5 September 2008 at 9:08 am #

the electric guitar player has quite the hip thrust! and that bass player is what every bassist should aspire to.

  20. brent(inWorship) 5 September 2008 at 9:09 am #

  24. Jeremy Killian 5 September 2008 at 9:27 am #

I like the line about Jesus being like a Mountie, “He always gets his man.”

  25. Paul 5 September 2008 at 9:28 am #

“he is like a mountie, he always gets his man, and He’ll zap you anyway he can, Zap!”

    Awesome!

  26. portorikan 5 September 2008 at 9:31 am #

Wow, well, that certainly isn’t doing Christian artists performing ska music any favors.

  27. drew 5 September 2008 at 9:31 am #

Witness a fine fusion of ska, polka and theological mastery.

I am a better man for this. Thank you Los.

    Happy B-day.

  28. joedwilson 5 September 2008 at 9:36 am #

Holy Crap! I think these guys are still playing out here in Branson, Missouri! Long live Rock and Roll!

  29. zach harrod 5 September 2008 at 9:43 am #

“Jesus is like a mountie?” Come on? Are you serious!?!?

I don’t think Jesus loved him while writing this silly song!

  30. dewde 5 September 2008 at 9:44 am #

Is this the Christian version of Rick-rolling??

Cut me some slack, I’m semi-new to the club.

    peace|dewde

  31. warren 5 September 2008 at 9:45 am #

“jesus came and found me and touched me down inside”???
you can tell they were writing in a pre-scandalous era!

  32. Loran 5 September 2008 at 9:52 am #

    wow!
    That just kills.
    I’m speechless.
Is that really “Rock and Roll”?

    Nice! Jesus is my friend!

  34. soozieque 5 September 2008 at 10:09 am #

My grandmother watches Gospel Music Telivision 24/7- and this is pretty risque compared to that… but I loved the whole “He’ll love me if I’m perfect/ If I ever get that way” part, along with sassy hip and head roll.

  35. amy sanders 5 September 2008 at 10:10 am #

what do you think they’ll be saying about us in another 30 years?
that might be scarier than this video.

  36. Christian 5 September 2008 at 10:11 am #

It’s sad that most churches in America aren’t this contemporary yet. The probably dragged these guys out behind the studio and shot them after the taping was done.

  37. Morgan 5 September 2008 at 10:11 am #

“he taught me how to praise my God and still play rock and roll”…no he didn’t…don’t blame that on God.

  38. cdenning 5 September 2008 at 10:15 am #

this really happened people. man, depressing.

  39. D.Lake 5 September 2008 at 10:27 am #

  54. Amy I 5 September 2008 at 2:42 pm #

Really?? Where do you find stuff like this? Lol that was pretty funny though I guess Christian music really has come a long way!

  55. April 5 September 2008 at 3:21 pm #

I don’t know what is worse. That this is why people think Christians are lame or that these poor folks think that they are “cutting” edge!!

  56. matt 5 September 2008 at 5:17 pm #

los, your on drums aren’t you!

  72. Rebecca Boganwright 9 September 2008 at 6:22 am #

I just got ZAPPED! That definately brightened up my day. A few favorites: the grand piano that no one played and the backup singers who do not look at all excited to have Jesus as their friend.

  73. Jonathan 9 September 2008 at 3:42 pm #

I think I found something sadder.
