I love the bgv singers. They are doing the typical background singer sway. They just need shorter, tighter skirts and they could be backing up any pop singer. LOL!!!

ok, if you close your eyes and cover your ears a little bit, that guy has a of a Michael Stipe thing going on.

  5. Chris J 15 September 2008 at 10:22 am #

As awful and cheesy as these may be, didn’t they pave the road to where we are able to go with music in the church today?

So apparently these people are part of The Way International, which I’m sure we all learned about in our junior high Sunday school lessons on cults. Not sure how this attracts people to join them…

Have you ever peed yourself while throwing up in your mouth a little? If not, watch this one again.

  13. Pete Wilson 15 September 2008 at 11:18 am #

I always wondered what Greg Ferguson did before he went on staff at Willow.

  14. VickiS. 15 September 2008 at 11:24 am #

    Mad riffs!

  15. jarrod morris 15 September 2008 at 11:30 am #

Anybody have a chord chart for the song?

  16. Ryan 15 September 2008 at 11:35 am #

The sad thing is that I know alot of people that would go crazy about this. Its so inspiring!

  17. Abs 15 September 2008 at 11:35 am #

steven.russell – there are worse things a few hundred teenagers could be doing with their time… come on….

  18. Jon 15 September 2008 at 11:37 am #

dang, i knew Monday was missing something, just couldn’t pinpoint it…

by the way, got any September Flava coming up?

  19. Jason Harrison 15 September 2008 at 11:44 am #

A hair band without the hair…or flashy clothes…missing the “key-tar” though. That would have made it slick, oh and a cowbell…MORE COWBELL!

  20. stephen 15 September 2008 at 12:03 pm #

Have you seen this one yet?

  24. cdenning 15 September 2008 at 12:36 pm #

This is just a different kind of bad. This is why accountability is so important people. Man.

  25. John 15 September 2008 at 12:47 pm #

Why do I allow myself to be sucked in by that arrow-in-a-box!!!!??!?!?

  26. Jason Cole 15 September 2008 at 12:55 pm #

Ben… its dated 2007. No paving going on there, lots of something but not paving the way.

  27. Tammy Marcelain 15 September 2008 at 1:09 pm #

The lead singer sounds alot like Michael Stipe. If REM ever needs a new frontman, here he is.

  28. Brandy 15 September 2008 at 1:21 pm #

All three videos posted(the Jesus is my friend one just left me speechless)…I can’t stop watching them…it is like a very bad car wreck, you just thank Jesus it was not you involved and you pray for the ones involved….but you can’t quite look away.

  29. bub 15 September 2008 at 1:38 pm #

Definitely not Jesus is My Friend, which I have probably watched at least 50 times, found their whole story on the internet, and have just been barely able to stop myself to devoting a fan site to them. The guitar player reminds me of Billy Zoom from X with that crazy smile. Hmm, I’m not sure if there is anyone on here old enough to remember X. Look it up, Kids!

  30. Swain 15 September 2008 at 1:54 pm #

Did you see Al Bundy on drums?

  31. Gretchen 15 September 2008 at 1:59 pm #

I think the first one was better.

  32. PJ 15 September 2008 at 2:32 pm #

Jesus may be their friend, but according to their doctrine he isn’t God. No wonder they are so scary.

  33. Heidi Reed 15 September 2008 at 2:40 pm #

Ummmmmm?? Can you show more videos of your kids instead? This stuff makes vomit come up my esophagus and that is very unpleasant.

    ROFL!!

  34. Ronnie (MandoRon) 15 September 2008 at 3:43 pm #

I had the same thought about Greg Ferguson at Willow…

Very nice stuff. Especially the guitar solo! It didn’t quite fit the clothing…

  35. Jamie Stavenger 15 September 2008 at 3:44 pm #

Was this footage all taken the same day? Or do they have some crazy dress code requiring their women to wear blue mother-of-the-bride getups every Sunday?

  36. Loran 15 September 2008 at 6:44 pm #

I think I saw that final guitar move at the Queensryche concert last week.

  37. Tina 15 September 2008 at 7:17 pm #

QUIT IT!! :-) I almost got the other one out of my head and now this one too?! UGH! They are so pitiful I’m embarrassed to watch them. And yet I’m sucked in and can’t look away…it’s sorta SICK! ACK!!! Make a joyful noise! (Guess geeks need leaders too!)

  38. AdamF 16 September 2008 at 5:05 am #

What we are we doing now in church that we think is so cool and cutting edge that we’ll look back on years from now and ask, “What were we thinking?”

  39. jenn 16 September 2008 at 6:17 am #

    Wow that guy can rock!

Does anyone know what church/ministry that is from?
