  9. Toby 15 October 2008 at 12:55 pm #

    I’m so annoying it told me to check back in 30 minutes

  10. beccity98 15 October 2008 at 12:56 pm #

    I think you sent too much traffic there and it can’t handle it. It says “Sorry! follow cost is sending too many requests to Twitter right now! Please try again in 30 minutes. “

  11. pete 15 October 2008 at 1:20 pm #

    i can’t get on either…
    (maybe i should tweet a bunch more before I check out the site again later!)

  12. pete 15 October 2008 at 1:24 pm #

    and what the heck does “all your base belong to us” mean as it’s compiling the data?

  13. Phil Brangers 15 October 2008 at 1:24 pm #

    It’s amazing cause I just open twitterific and had that thought…lol

  14. Ryan Joy 15 October 2008 at 1:25 pm #

    not near as annoying as this “Sorry! follow cost is sending too many requests to Twitter right now! Please try again in 30 minutes.”

    I guess you all will just have to follow me and find out..

    @ryanjoy

  15. pete 15 October 2008 at 1:31 pm #

    to follow @transitionpete means that you’ll be subjected to 11.5 updates on a consistent basis

    11.54 average
    11.58 last 100

  16. Malachi 15 October 2008 at 1:33 pm #

    I am only about half as annoying as you, los: 4.39/5.05 @melguera

  19. Valtool 15 October 2008 at 1:41 pm #

    Not sure I understand the question, but when I forst read it I thought, “How annoying would it be to follow.. CNN.”

  20. Archie Mck 15 October 2008 at 1:42 pm #

    10.17 and 48.07… Hmmm
    Am I assuming 1 Scoble is the height of annoyance?

  21. Valtool 15 October 2008 at 1:44 pm #

    Also, how annoying it was to discover that following someone on Twitter is great until you want to respond to them, and do, but then realize they will never see your response because they do not follow you. With only three followers, one my wife and another a friend of a friend who I have never met and who hates the Phillies for no real reason, Makes the Twitter thing a lot less fun than it could be.

  22. Ryan Joy 15 October 2008 at 1:49 pm #

    scoble 2 thumbs up love ithate it

    (v., scobleize, adv.)
    To act in a egotistical, longwinded and self centered manner; to fill the air with loads of blustery obfuscation or arrogant belly-button observations; acting like a general ass.
    I’m going to go scoble that reporter.

    or

    He always scobles at our parties, and now nobody wants to come.

  24. James 15 October 2008 at 1:56 pm #

    7.26. I’m working on curbing my Twitter addiction.

  25. Jason Fearon 15 October 2008 at 2:02 pm #

    I’m only a 1.05 / 1.47.

    You should really follow me. Seems I’m not that annoying at all. @jasonfearon

  26. bobby 15 October 2008 at 2:29 pm #

    2.51/4.43
    @bmarch

  27. kyle 15 October 2008 at 2:32 pm #

    11.38, however my last 100 have been a low 8.74.
    So it’s safe to follow me here:

  28. Steven 15 October 2008 at 3:17 pm #

    See, it’s not really fair. I’ve had my Twitter account for a long time, but I didn’t use it for at least a year of that time. My average is way down because of that. I’m at 2.87 average and 8.17 per day, although I can guarantee you that a month ago my average would have been about 50 per day. I’ve got to bring that back up. I want to be more annoying than this.

  29. Bobby Jones 15 October 2008 at 3:39 pm #

    0.81? Really? Not even a full tweet per day…oh well!

  30. Mel 15 October 2008 at 4:31 pm #

    What? I’m so technology backwards…but I am following you on Twitter now!!

  31. nicole dup 15 October 2008 at 5:26 pm #

    1.3 or something like that. not too annoying i guess. have you gotten your twitter grade at twitter.grader.com?
    @mama_dup

  32. Joel H. Williams 15 October 2008 at 5:50 pm #

    http://twitter.com/joelhwilliams

    8.28 / 7.72

    Also – @ValTool – when you reply to someonw with @username at the beginning of the message, that person will in face see your message when they check their @replies, even if they do not follow you. They may also seach their @username at twitter.search.com like @flowerdust mentioned she does because sometimes references to your username are not at the very beginning of a message, so they don’t show up in your @reply list.

  33. Tommy Bowman 15 October 2008 at 6:41 pm #

    4.53 – not as “annoying” as you, but I’ll still follow you

    oh – and I’m @tommybowman

  34. Molly 15 October 2008 at 6:52 pm #

    This is sad.

    4 and 20…i have gotten pretty chatty in the last 100 tweets.

  35. Jamie 15 October 2008 at 7:45 pm #

    7.15 and 14.55 with occasional gust up to 82.9.

    But I do ask myself that question often, “Is JamieSalmon worth following on Twitter?

    I would follow me. Well, until I annoyed me. Then I would probably drop me for a time and check back every once in awhile for anything interesting. Whether I’d pick me back up or not, who knows?

  36. Sully 15 October 2008 at 8:00 pm #

    5.63 — 4.92
    Apparently I am only half the man you are.

  37. Kristi 15 October 2008 at 9:02 pm #

    @kristicw – a mere 2.85

  38. Beccity98 15 October 2008 at 10:02 pm #

    @beccity98- 1.16 per day. I’d be pretty annoying cuz sometimes I don’t tweet for days, then 10 in a row, and all I ever write about is my cats (There is a kitten in my lap at this very moment, licking the dinner stain on my pantleg,) or my annoying customers or annoying bosses (yes, plural!)

  39. Liege Davis 15 October 2008 at 10:26 pm #

    8 – not too annoying!

  40. Ron 16 October 2008 at 1:47 am #

    Another sub 1 score 0.74

  41. Rachel 16 October 2008 at 5:46 am #

    @abide

    2.69 a day
    3.71 in the last 100

    Granted…I’m fairly new to Twitterland.

    I usually “unfollow” folks if all they do is @replies to countless people. DMs are there for a reason, kiddos.

  42. Scott Fillmer 16 October 2008 at 6:12 am #

    I am not sure that an site can fully measure the amount of annoyance I can provide

  43. erin 16 October 2008 at 9:42 am #

    http://followcost.com/mckennah

    1.50 average 4.78 recent. ~ its this iphone i got, guess my 1.50 is history!!

  44. Jeff Graham 16 October 2008 at 10:36 am #

    I thought I was doing pretty well, I try to update 4 times per day, but I’m only at 1.5, and more recently 1.4. Oh well. Follow me at http://twitter.com/pastorjgraham

  45. Matt Singley 17 October 2008 at 7:49 am #

    11.6 per day/10.38 last 100. Apparently I’m very annoying. But then again, I don’t need this website to tell me that, I have Twitter followers that like to remind me on a daily basis.

  46. chadhouck 22 October 2008 at 2:34 pm #

    @chadhouck: .33 since I got my twitter account like a year ago and didn’t use it! up to 2.35 for the last 100 though!

  47. Steve 3 November 2008 at 10:34 am #

    Somehow you just went NUCLEAR with 28 per day (for the last 100 updates). Hysterical. No offense, but this is why I quit following you on Twitter. It was atomically annoying!
    I’m at 1.67
