It's just right. Went to post something my favorite blog (stroking your ego, Los). It was down. I was down. Praise God it's up now. Keep it that way. Thanks to Andy. We all love you, Andy. You da man. Not the big man, but da man. We'll call you I.T. MAN, able to leap tall servers with a single bound and to stop speeding bullets with his virus protection. Thanks!

this isn't gonna be witty - i just want to tell you that i'm starting to get involved in worship ministry again after a long hiatus, and reading your older entries on the subject are enlightening, challenging, and pretty amusing too. i've only scratched the surface, but am looking forward to reading more.

glad the blog is back up and running :)

It is quite interesting how significant the journey of Abraham (actually, Abram. This was before God changed his name to Abraham.) and the Israelite people. The journey from Ur, to Hanan, to Canaan was rather long. However, they were traveling in a Possibility Zone, which means that there was an abundance of life supporting resources, i.e. water, vegetation. What is interesting, though, is that their journey was not straight forward. They basically went north, then south, just to get to a distance that was only half of what they traveled from where they originally started. That means they journeyed twice the distance from point a to b. The reason is because they had to avoid the desert, it would have killed them.

What what is more interesting is that when they actually got to Canaan, they didn't stay! This was a place of abundant resources and a great economy! However, they continued south into the Negev, which is basically dry, mountainous land. Why did they do that? After all, it was in the Negev where they experienced the famine that drove them to finding refuge in Egypt. We all know what happened there, right? SLAVERY!

That's the end of my witty response.

Yours truly,
Jonathan J.
