Out of the 6500 people hanging around these parts in some way shape or form everyday…
I got to thinking.
You probably read and write some of the most AMAZING blogs out in that interweb.
Soooooo.
Pimp yourself or a friend.

What blogs are we missing (even if it’s yours) AND WHY(what are they about)?
PLEASE TELL US WHAT THEY ARE ABOUT SO WE DON’T CLICK BLINDLY!!!

I blog at coloradogaws.blogspot.com about our little family's experience being pseudo-missionaries in Ukraine.

Some friends and I are about a week away from launching a new project called “A Risk A Day.” It's like 'a verse a day' or 'a word a day' with email or RSS subscription but instead of info, it'll challenge you with a risk for the Kingdom of God every day… whether you're in Ukraine, Uganda or Utica, NY.

It's to help people be intentional about being Christ in their community and then communicate their experience. It drops in the next week at ARiskADay.org

  29. Heidi Reed 13 November 2008 at 5:11 pm #

Well mine is about me. It's called Candid Chatter and it is exactly that. I have a passion for Christ, my husband, and my children. I am pregnant and I talk about that rather frankly. I have also highlighted miscarriage (since I lost a baby last year). I got a memorial tattoo in remembrance of that baby which is also listed on there in the tabs at the top (called All Things Tattoo). Actually, that's what got me to your site — the tattoo thing. Anyway, I am honest and sometimes funny and I get around 400 readers a day. I go from super spiritual to super silly in a matter of 24 hours. It's never the same. I love to blog so stop by sometime and leave a comment. We have a lot of fun in the comments section. Thanks.

    What's my blog about?

I'm a worship pastor on the journey of a pre-launch church plant.

I'm on a journey to learn what it means to truly follow Jesus.

Well, I'm a brand new lead pastor of a church that is transitioning into a new missional church with a vision to reach our city.

Pop in from day to day to follow the journey. (And you'll get some random personal stuff along the way.)

This blog “thiscolorbutblue” contains all the the stories I have written over the years, mostly about my crazy life as a mother, wife, daughter and dance school director. Also, there is a link to a cookbook blog I started and it tells a lot about my family and the things we used to eat growing up as kids. Good quotes about food too!

You have inspired me to get back on and write my stories again. I miss it!

We started by blogging about our adoption process in China (still waiting and waiting and waiting) and then decided to go to Africa in the meantime.

During that process our son passed away in an orphanage in Ethiopia before we could get there to bring him home. We have since been there – visited his burial spot – brought our daughter home from the same orphanage – and have been forever changed by the way God chose to move in us.

Thats what we blog about – mostly our daughter – and the miracle of adoption.

Quick pimp for our (me and my wife's) blog.

We were on separate tracks to be missionaries until we met two years ago. Now we're working to get our act together so we can go be missionaries as a family. In the meantime, we're learning about how to serve our local church, and praying about planting a church in our neighborhood.

We also just had our first baby 9 days ago, so you can watch us fumble through that…

And (the clencher), you can see a photo of my wife wearing the 'ransomed' shirt on her due date :0)

I've been slacking lately, but I usually write about being newlweds trying to figure out what marriage is, being in the military (my husband is Air Force), having a psycho hyper puppy that's like our son, and attending an awesome church all in the Ft Meade, MD area. It's not easy, but it's life.

These guys just like to talk about life, Jesus and their hearts – for the church, for the world, for their communities, for their families, for their lives. It's real and passionate.

This guy is honest and real and good. Talks about tough stuff, life and employs a good use of corny jokes and figures of speech.

This is a professor at a small Christian college in Missouri. He is pertinent and real with what issues he addresses, but also encourages asking questions of our faith, not just taking what we've always known and blindly following it.

i'll shamelessly plug my blog. it's about my adventure from my selfish, white-middle class upbringing to understand that God intends for me to think outside myself and affect the least of these and how art, music and culture can impact that same effect in other peoples lives. i talk about our adventures with adoption and sometimes i just get stupid. it's basically just random ramblings. i'm pimping my blog because i desperately want to go on a Compassion blogging trip and don't have enough readers, so come on people. link up. jk, i don't need to be the popular kid at the lunch table. i just need a job.

I started this blog as a way to share life with our worship ministry and church so that I could lead the way into authenticity in our christian walk. I want to model the “real life” of one who truly seeks God. I share personal stuff, family stuff, and the Word occasionally. I also rip some stuff of of Ragamuffinsoul. Who doesn't?

  196. Boaly 18 November 2008 at 2:48 am #

I'll pimp my own blog – mainly about Christ, experiences, thoughts & some family stuff too. I give some info about the ministry i work with – Revival Movement Association (which prints & ships Gospels etc around the world for free)

I've titled my blog "Random Meanderings" because the posts are random and they tend to meander. I've tried to come up with some cool thematic approach but nothing seems to stick. It's about life, (late add: faith, music, other) random thoughts and just generally stuff I find important enough to write or ask others' opinions about.
The URL is: http://crawlspace5.blogspot.com/.The "crawlspace5" breaks down as follows: This was my crawling start at blogging, my own space to blog in and it began in 2005.
