Heather, the kids, and I NEED to get away for a few days.
Friday till Tuesday to be exact.
We are looking for a relaxing place to stay.

i put a comment on heathers blog, but i rent a 2 bedroom condo that is about 5 minutes from the beach on the gulf coast of Florida. im going to be in Missouri visiting my family for Turkey Day and will be gone Saturday AM til next weekend so you could have the place to yourselves & spend some time in the warm sunshine

I'm 7 hours from you guys (Orlando), but you are welcome here. I'm 30 minutes from Cocoa Beach, and 30 minutes from the Parks. I have a spare room and three rambunctious children, but might be able to hook you up in a room at my time share for at least two days of it. Plus discounted tickets to the parks if you'd like.
I'll post to Heather too. I know you don't know me from Adam, but my home never knows a stranger.

You and your family are welcome to stay with us in the middle of Amish country, PA. We've got a guest bedroom for you and Mrs. Ragamuffin, another bedroom for your kids, and a finished basement if you need it. We've got a Wii, a 7-year old daughter, a 6-year old son. And free WI-Fi. And lots of kid toys.

Have you heard of couch surfing? I've never done it, but I know of a family that did and had a great experience with it. He is a youth pastor. Anyway, you might do a search of it on the web.
Maybe not for a retreat as a family, but for an exciting family vacation.

Hawaii baby!!! Hey dude, you guys could stay with our fam in Hawaii. But the airfare is probably a little prohibitive. I'm a worship pastor on Oahu. We've got little kids ourselves. But a guest room, living room, den- all options. Hit me back if you're interested. I'm buddies with Wurzell- he can vouch that I'm not a weirdo. (Plus I grew up in the 909- I'm tellin' you, all sorts of connects!!!)

Seriously… if you'll consider it, then get back to me… you can see how the crazy lady with 8 children live… your kids could quite possibly never be the same… oh, and we're having Thanksgiving in Minneapolis with the fam… so more kids and fun… and there's never a Thanksgiving that passes when we don't watch “A Christmas Story” (grandpa's favorite)

i know of a couple free cabins in the beautiful california mountains. so if youre up for a drive….anyways, on to the real reason for my post. i am shamelessly asking you to send me the “magic sharp” action. it seems im starting up a little side photo biz. ha! who isnt. but i NEED me some “magic sharp!”
