To put it in perspective, maybe picks, coffee mugs, t-shirts, and whatever bric-a-brac one thinks of could be viewed as cheesy imitations of secular bric-a-brac. Or they could be opportunities to make statements about what is important to us. A guitar pick which says "Pick Jesus" instead of the "Fender" logo. Cheesy or simply the guitarist making a subtle statement that Jesus is more important than some guitar maker?
Remember, God looks at the heart and motives behind the act.

If you're not living what you're wearing outwardly, what's the point? I also don't listen to contemporary Christian music, as it tends to be a tad bit on the lame side. Good luck to you—don't let your faith waiver in the face of mass hypocracy.

Know what the sad thing is? I had a student of mine give me this Sunday. She's in 6th grade and thought it was awesome. I think my knee jerk reaction crushed her heart…ah well…onto damage control
